Farrah Abraham Responds To Amber Portwood’s Announcement That She Is Leaving ‘Teen Mom OG’

Amber Portwood announced earlier today that she would be leaving Teen MomOG after her explosive fight with her co-star Farrah Abraham during the reunion special with Dr. Drew Pinsky. Now, Farrah has released a statement in regard to Amber’s announcement.

“I’m out of the drama. None of the girls will quit — they like the attention, need the money and their boyfriends need the money too much to quit,” the 25-year-old reality star told Us Weekly.

“I get Amber is embarrassed of her actions, but she flip flops and will be right back to filming. This is dramatic. She can quit and not make it public if she really was done.”

Amber revealed her decision to leave Teen Mom OG, MTV’s spin-off of 16 and Pregnant, on Friday through a series of tweets.

“Sad to say but I’m not going to be apart of #Teenmomog. The way I have been portrayed and treated is unfair. @MTV sending all my love,” Portwood tweeted.

“If I was treated fairly it wouldn’t be an issue but it’s been nothing but disrespect since the reunion show. Which keeps continuing today. Nothing has been dealt with or has made me feel any safer to even move on with people who have continuously hidden things from the network.”

“The day I’m shown some respect by the people I’ve worked with for 8 years is the day I’ll be back. I’ve sacrificed a lot for this show. @MTV”

Amber and Farrah have never seemed to see eye-to-eye, but it was Abraham’s comments about Portwood’s fiance Matt Baier that set her off. According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, Farrah’s boyfriend Simon Saran had made comments about Matt looking like a pedophile because he is so much older than Amber. When Dr. Drew brought up the comments, Farrah chimed in and said, “Well, I’m sorry that Matt probably looks like it.”

Amber had been watching backstage, and when she heard what Farrah had to say about Matt, she stormed onstage and confronted her.

“Just because somebody’s 20 years older than you doesn’t mean he’s a f***ing pedophile,” Portwood yelled in Abraham’s face.

Farrah didn’t back down and started taunted Amber by repeatedly saying, “Hi Amber! Hi Amber!”

“Shut your f***ing mouth, do you understand me?” Portwood yelled. “Shut your f***ing mouth.”

Dr. Drew and the show’s producers attempted to restrain Portwood, but she just wasn’t having it.

Instead, she screamed, “I’m going to stand up for my f***ing man! You talk a lot of s**t when other people are around, don’t you?”

Farrah then challenged Amber to a physical fight by saying, “I’m right here. I’m right here.”

“And I’m right f***ing here!” Portwood screaming back while taking a swing at Abraham’s face and just barely missing, “Watch your mouth!”

The fight continued to escalate when Baier and Farrah’s father Michael came out on stage. The altercation between the two men ended with Matt shoving Michael to the ground. Portwood was eventually escorted off the stage.
