Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski’s bikini photos are everything you’ve been wanting. The models headed down to the Bahamas to ride around on jet skis and pose on the beach in just their bikinis.
Who knew that Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski were best friends. It’s only been a week since Bella made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, now it looks like the 20-year-old is tackling her next big fashion project. Over the weekend, Bella took to Instagram to share a series of photos of herself relaxing in the Bahamas alongside fellow models Emily Ratajkowski, Elsa Hosk, Lais Ribeiro, and Rose Bertram.
According to their respective Instagram accounts, Hailey Baldwin and fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio joined the group of beautiful women to work on what hairstylist Frankie Foye referred to as a “secret project,” but it looks like they’re mixing work with pleasure.
A closer look reveals that Adam Franzino is the man behind the lens for these photos. According to Glamour, he posted photos of Rose Bertram and Emily Ratajkowski with the hashtags #bahamas. The project is also operating under the name Fyer Island or Fyer Festival. Several models, including Elsa Hosk and Alessandra Ambrosio have used these locations in their Instagram captions.
It looks like the model group headed down for an unknown ad campaign, noted Elle. Based on the Snapchat videos showing the hair and makeup teams on site for their bikini photos. The models didn’t wake up looking like that, but they probably could anyway.
This comes after Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski made headlines for posing nude. Ratajkowski posed naked for a photo shoot which happened back in 2012. The over one-hundred photos have since surfaced on the internet over the years and are now available in photographer Jonathan Leeder’s new book. He is planning to release a new book of the never-before-seen nude photos and topless photos from the shoot, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Last week, Ratajkowski took to social media to slam the photographer and his new book, which she says was released without her permission.
“I’ve been resisting speaking publicly on the recently released photos by Jonathan Leder to avoid giving him publicity. But I’ve had enough,” she wrote on Twitter. “This book and the images within them are a violation.”
The photos were taken four years ago, before her rise to fame following her appearance in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” video. The photos, which were taken with a Polaroid camera, were shot at the Cape House in Woodstock, New York, and featured Ratajkowski in various positions and stages of undress.
“5 out of the now 100s of released photos were used for what they were intended: an artful magazine shoot back in 2012,” she added. “These photos being used w/out my permission is an example of exactly the opposite of what I stand for: women choosing when and how they want to share their sexuality and bodies.”
Hadid, however, did consent to the nude photo shoot she did for Paper magazine. She even graced the cover of the publication’s new Outspoken issue, in which she looked unrecognizable with her platinum blonde hair and over-the-top makeup.
@papermagazine STYLED BY @KARLIE.FLOSS This cover is extra special to me-- ☄☄☄ My great new friend Fucci and I decided to collaborate together and he CAME THRU from Atlanta to NYC to style me and creative direct this whole cover and story...AS HIS FIRST SHOOT EVER! ????????I'm so proud of you fucc. You set your mind to something and you GOT IT! ????????????????Overly proud of u. ???? to a long friendship and career! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The photos featured the model wearing sheer clothing and posing topless with her nipple ring front and center. In the accompanying interview, Hadid talks about her Victoria’s Secret Fashion show debut and explains that she wants to act.
“I think it would be really fun, because it’s exciting to be in front of the camera on film instead of just pictures,” she said. “I have so many goals … most of the time I like to keep them to myself, because I’m really superstitious.”
Like Hadid, Ratajkowski has dabbled in acting. She appeared in the movie Gone Girl as well as Netflix’s new show, Easy.
