Nostradamus Predictions 2017: Who Is The Antichrist To End The World?

Nostradamus made a number of predictions in the 16th century. Many of those predictions were about war and global terror. Since end of the world speculations have been highly discussed all around these days, people wonder if the French soothsayer said something about it. The curious part is that he did.

Who Is The Antichrist

Nostradamus did talk about violent global wars. He also predicted about world leaders who would be capable of making a lasting impression. In Christianity, the one who is believed to bring the end of the world is the Antichrist. Also known as the False Messiah, the Antichrist is going to make false claims of saving the world just like what Jesus Christ did. But, in fact, he will bring the end of it.

Does the Antichrist belong to the Middle East?

One of the major predictions of Nostradamus was the third and final Antichrist. It is believed that the final Antichrist will be more dangerous than the previous two combined. After he comes to power, there will be World War III, which will allegedly run for 27 years. According to many experts, WWIII is going to take place in the Middle East. So, the obvious speculation is he will belong to the Middle East.

Predictions Of 9/11

To understand the significance of Nostradamus, it is important to know that he predicted many modern-day phenomena including the 9/11 attack. “The year 1999 seven months, from the sky will come the great King of Terror,” he said. This instantly raised speculations that Nostradamus hinted in his predictions that Osama bin Laden was the final Antichrist. But, that is not applicable in 2017.

Saddam Hussein And Osama bin Laden

While many are talking about Nostradamus making predictions about 2017, earlier interpretations suggested that the global war would take place in 1999. Nostradamus researchers came to the conclusion that the final Antichrist was either Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden. After 17 years, the world looks different now. Both Saddam and Osama are dead. And, the end of the world that appears in Nostradamus predictions has not yet happened.

Is It ISIS?

If Nostradamus predictions are interpreted according to the situation in 2017, the most devastating force capable of initiating a global war is the Islamic State. The Daily Express noted that, according to many researchers, the French physician had talked about the terrorist organization as the final Antichrist. The extremist group has recently declared its intention to capture Europe. If ISIS tries to do that, that will surely call for a global war.

World War III

According to some Nostradamus researchers, WWIII is going to start in 2017. The predictions may refer to ISIS starting the war. Nostradamus also said that the evil force would tyrannize over Mesopotamia, the present day Middle East. He also said that the evil force would be dressed in black. ISIS has a black costume. It also has a black flag.

Is Donald Trump The Antichrist?

Another interesting interpretation says Nostradamus might have talked about Donald Trump in his predictions. Without a doubt, President Trump is going to be arguably the most powerful force in 2017, the first year of his presidency. He has strong views about ISIS and the politics of the Middle East. Many try to compare Trump with the typical Antichrist qualities like charisma, pride and ego.

Signs Of Antichrist

Interpretations are still open about who is going to be the Antichrist Nostradamus mentioned in his predictions. Bible Search notes that, according to Jesus Christ, the Antichrist will be a master of deception. He will be clever enough to fool almost everyone in the world. Presumably, he will be respected by all.

What Nostradamus said in his predictions is open to interpretations. It is still unclear who that “holy person” will be in 2017.
