Bristol Palin Pregnant With Third Baby, Second Child With Dakota Meyer
Bristol Palin is pregnant with her third child. The official announcement came when Entertainment Tonight reported that Palin released an official statement concerning the pregnancy. Bristol Palin announced that she and Dakota Meyer are excited to welcome the new baby into the world.
“We are so excited to announce that our family is expanding! God has blessed us so much; we are thankful for His grace and new beginnings. A springtime baby in the Meyer home and we can’t wait!”
The happy family also displayed a new photo that showed Bristol Palin, Dakota Meyer, and Palin’s two other children, Sailor Grace and Tripp, holding a giant sign that reads that the baby will come in spring, 2017.
Tripp, 7, was born to an 18-year-old Bristol Palin and her boyfriend at the time, Levi Johnston. This came at a tough time because her mother, Sarah Palin, was running for vice president of the United States on an ultra-conservative platform.

Bristol Palin later said in an interview with Fox News that abstinence is not realistic for young people today.
“I think abstinence is, like — like, the — I don’t know how to put it — like, the main — everyone should be abstinent or whatever, but it’s not realistic at all… Because it’s more and more accepted now.”
In that interview, Bristol Palin also talked about marrying Levi Johnston in time, but that never happened. The two broke up three months after Tripp was born, but they got back together again in 2010 and split up just three weeks later. Levi Johnston received visitation rights in the child custody case.
In 2015, Bristol Palin announced her engagement to former Marine Dakota Meyer, who she had met a year earlier. Three months later, Bristol Palin announced she was pregnant with her second child. The Mercury News reported that Bristol Palin said she didn’t want lectures because the pregnancy was “planned.”
“I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect Tripp’s and my privacy during this time.”
Sailor Grace was the second child, a little girl born in December, 2016. Finally, six months later, Bristol Palin finally got married to Dakota Meyer in June, 2016. The couple are now expecting their second child and the third for Bristol Palin. After two children born out of wedlock, it seems that Bristol Palin feels she is finally in a place where she was meant to be.
“Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be. We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!”
Bristol Palin has done well for herself since she was originally a teenage mother whose own mother was the governor of Alaska who ran for the vice president of the United States. Despite saying it was impossible for teens to remain abstinent, Palin became the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Ambassador for a teen pregnancy prevention organization.

Bristol Palin then began to cash in on her notoriety by taking on paid speeches in 2010. She also moved onto television, appearing on Dancing with the Stars twice, starring in her own reality series Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp, and then writing her own memoir in 2011 called Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.
