Jennifer Aniston And Lisa Kudrow ‘No Longer Friends’ Story Debunked

It’s no surprise that that Jennifer Aniston continues to be the queen of the tabloids despite her plea for the gossip publications, guilty of often perpetuating falsehoods about her, to leave her be. Aniston’s essay in the Huffington Post earlier this year seemed to cause the rumors to shift away from the subject of pregnancy at least, yet Jen is still a main topic for their headlines.

Following the divorce announcement between Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt and the woman he reportedly left her for, Angelina Jolie, Jen became just as popular in the story details as those going through the divorce. The most recent rumor stirred up, however, is that Jennifer Aniston and former Friends co-star, Lisa Kudrow, are no longer pals.

Leave it to the National Enquirer to stir up a fabricated tale like this one, involving headlines reading “Aniston And Kudrow Anything But Friends!” The tabloid then goes on to expand on this claim.

“Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow may both live in New York now, but they definitely aren’t singing ‘I’ll be there for you’ these days! The former co-stars haven’t even bothered to pick up the phone to say hi. Lisa and her husband, Michel Stern, along with their son, Julian, left L.A. and moved to New York earlier this year because of work opportunities. Despite being just around the corner from each other, Jen and Lisa haven’t even spoken once.”

The source continues to share that there wasn’t really a falling out. Instead Jen and Lisa just “don’t get one another.” Additionally, the source states that the actresses “never really had much in common beyond that hit TV show that made them both famous, and have made no move to nourish a friendship now.”

The supposed tipster even suggests that Kudrow was only invited to the nuptials between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux as a favor to Courteney Cox and refers to Jen as the favored friend.

“The fact that they are both close pals with Courteney hasn’t brought them any closer together. Jen was always the favored friend, and Lisa was always the odd one out. Whenever they get together with Courteney… it’s because they adore Courteney, who loves everybody.”

However, Gossip Cop has debunked this tale and reminds that the tabloid has not been at all reliable when it comes to most stories, including those involving Jennifer Aniston. Only last year, the NE claimed that Cox had a falling out with Aniston after the split from her boyfriend, Johnny McDaid. The tabloid also alleged that Aniston was in a feud with co-star Matthew Perry months before that false claim.

Earlier this year, the National Enquirer tried to start drama by alleging that Aniston was snubbing her Friends co-stars while at the tribute taping for the show’s director James Burrows. It seems as though the tabloid has the Aniston Friends feud rumors on rotation.

GC has easily determined that the latest tale referring to Jen and Lisa is all “nonsense,” as stated by a rep of the stars. The truth of the matter is that Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow remain friends on and off screen, and there is no tension between these two ladies, or between Jen and any of her other Friends co-stars.

As noted, Jennifer Aniston has dealt with being the subject of outlandish tabloid rumors for over a decade now, and she voiced her frustrations quite poignantly in a well-worded essay in the Huffington Post.

“For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of ‘journalism,’ the ‘First Amendment’ and ‘celebrity news.'”
