Angelina Jolie Does Not Want To Get Back Together With Brad Pitt [Debunked]

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not on the verge of a reunion.

Earlier this week, a report claimed Angelina Jolie was allegedly hoping to get back together with her soon-to-be-ex-husband, but according to Gossip Cop, there is no truth the rumor regarding their reported reconciliation.

“I want Brad back,” reads a headline on the cover of the latest issue of Star magazine, which also features a glum-looking Angelina Jolie and a caption teasing of her rumored “regrets.”

According to the magazine, Angelina Jolie is depressed and lonely and struggling to raise her and Pitt’s six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. The magazine also suggested Angelina Jolie was spending a reported $250,000 per month and said she was allegedly jealous over Pitt’s rumored nights out with actress Kate Hudson.

“I’ve made a huge mistake,” read a reported quote from the magazine, which was shared by Gossip Cop on December 7.

The alleged magazine insider went on to tell readers, “Be careful what you wish for! Lonely Angelina Jolie is seeing what like without Brad Pitt is life — and she’s having second thoughts.”

According to the report, Angelina Jolie began having second thoughts about her divorce after celebrating Thanksgiving without her estranged husband.

“[His] absence was a painful reminder of just how much she has alienated him since she filed for divorce in September — and just how much she has lost. [Angelina Jolie] misses [him] so desperately that she’s now regretting her decision to leave him!”

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19 and reportedly requested full physical custody of their six children. As TMZ reported at the time, sources claimed Angelina Jolie’s decision to file court documents to end her marriage to the actor came after disputes over Pitt’s parenting and his alleged drug and alcohol use.

“Of course [Angelina Jolie] and Brad had their problems — every couple does,” the magazine insider alleged. “But after 12 years together they had a very special bond, and Angie’s asking herself if she’s thrown away what could have been a lifetime of happiness with one rash move. It’s turned into a very low and very hurtful experience with her.”

While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were together for 12 years, they were only married for 2.

As Angelina Jolie continues to raise her children in Malibu, California, the magazine source incorrectly claimed Pitt had struck up a romance with Kate Hudson and claimed the alleged relationship between them had been a “bitter pill” for Angelina Jolie to swallow.

In response to the report, however, a source confirmed to Gossip Cop that Angelina Jolie was not having “regrets” about calling it quits with Pitt and said she was still moving forward with their plans to divorce.

While Angelina Jolie might not be hoping for a reconciliation with her former partner at this point in time, a report months ago claimed the couple’s six children were rooting for a reunion.

“The kids are devastated and confused about why their parents are suddenly apart,” a source explained to Hollywood Life in October. “They are all nagging [Angelina Jolie] to get back together with their dad and have everything be back to normal.”

Around the same time, another Hollywood Life source claimed Pitt was “insulted” by having to spend time with his kids under the supervision of a monitor.

“He can’t stand the fact that he has to have supervised visits with his children… He’s playing along but he is so insulted and he can’t believe how drastically his life changed in a matter of weeks,” the alleged insider explained.
