Is Britney Spears dating her “Slumber Party” video co-star Sam Asghari?

Multiple outlets are under the impression that the twosome is officially an item, which sources say was somewhat confirmed in a photo which Spears posted on her official Instagram page.

Asghari is seen leaning over to Britney, as she pulls a funny facial expression, all while Sam’s hand is casually resting on Spears’ lap.

Fans were quick to point out that Britney Spears rarely ever posts photos of other men on her Instagram page unless she really cares for them or they are friends she’s known for years.

So, what makes Sam Asghari so special?

As Hollywood Life notes, Sam is a professional dancer, who worked with Spears on her latest music video for “Slumber Party” featuring Tinashe. Sam and Britney have a romantic relationship going on in the music video, which saw its official release just over a week ago, and by the look of things, that chemistry continued to sizzle after the shoot.

While Britney Spears is very much known to never hide her relationships from the public, fans have been left puzzled as to why the singer is taking a new approach when it comes to the men she’s dating.

“Britney is taking things really slow with her new handsome co-star Sam,” one insider tells Hollywood Life.

“They are being a little secretive when friends are asking them questions about what is going on and they’re not answering anything. They have great chemistry together and she loves how sexy he is.”

According to the outlet, Britney Spears isn’t rushing into anything too fast. She’s gotten along great with Sam, and she definitely seems to be under the impression that they could form a full-on relationship with one another, but only time will tell.

Britney, who considers herself a hopeless romantic, has been so busy with her Vegas residency and raising her two children that her love life has somewhat been non-existent lately. She wants to prioritize her time around her own needs again, starting with a boyfriend.

And as Hollywood Life has already mentioned, while Spears may be dating Sam Asghari, 26, she’s still trying to figure out whether their relationship has the potential of lasting.

“He is trying to protect her and their relationship as it is in the early, fun stage. He doesn’t want to screw up a good thing. Britney is also remaining coy as they take it one day at a time before they make any public announcement.”

News of Britney Spears’ romance with her backup dancer comes just weeks after the 35-year-old made an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show in the UK, stressing that she had no plans of looking for a boyfriend in the near future.

The singer shared that dating men can be exhausting at times — especially when there’s a lot of texting involved.

“It’s just the mind game with guys, the calling back and texting. Actually, I’m not looking for men right now, I’m really happy with myself.”

Her decision to reportedly give Sam Asghari a chance comes just days after it was revealed that Spears was already back in the studio, working on her next studio album, as reported by That Grape Juice. Britney has yet to confirm an actual release date to the follow-up of her summer hit, Glory.
