Casey Anthony: Ex-Bodyguard Breaks Silence, ‘Everybody Knew She Did It’

Casey Anthony did murder her daughter Caylee, according to a new audio recording from Anthony’s former bodyguard, per International Business Times. Rob Dick was Casey’s bodyguard when she was first released from jail. In 2008, the “Tot Mom” from Florida was accused of killing her two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. Dick insists Casey’s not a serial killer who has or would kill others. He believes Casey killed Caylee in a “fit of rage.”

“The child was an inconvenience to her… you know, she wanted to live her life.”

Rob is making the rounds on various media outlets after he discussed the high-profile murder case on the podcast “Allegedly” with Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss, according to International Business Times.

Weiss and Von asked for clarification as to why Rob said Casey Anthony “killed her child.” Dick then claimed again that he believes Anthony is guilty of murder, according to the Hollywood Gossip.

“Yeah… Without a doubt… I think everybody knew she did it.”

Rob added, if anyone were to spend five minutes with Casey, they would see she could never be suicidal because “she loves herself too much.”

“I still question the world’s fascination with it… There are lots of women out there that killed their kid… and I do say ‘killed their kid.'”

Several months of investigation into Caylee’s death passed and Anthony was found not guilty of murder in 2011. After years of recollection, the bodyguard summed up Anthony’s murder trial and release from jail as, “completely insane.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever been involved in something so crazy.”

Rob recalled the mass hysteria outside of Anthony’s central Florida home. He described massive crowds waiting for a peek of the infamous Anthony family.

“At one point I’m standing in the front yard trying to keep 100-200 people from lynching her while Nancy Grace is [live] across the street.”

Despite the evidence and Casey’s lies, Dick said he was in “disbelief” that the jury found her not guilty of the murder.

“It didn’t seem real. Just craziness.”

An investigator by the name of Dominic Casey, who was involved in the search for missing Caylee, made a bombshell claim in Casey Anthony’s bankruptcy case. Dominic suggested that Anthony paid her lawyer with sex, according to Fox News. He claimed attorney Jose Baez hired him days after police arrested Anthony and was told by Casey’s lead defense attorney that Casey in fact, killed Caylee.

“Baez had told me that Casey had murdered Caylee and dumped the body somewhere and, he needed all the help he could get to find the body before anyone else did.”

Meter reader Roy Kronk found Caylee’s body in the woods near her grandparents’ home. Dominic also said Casey Anthony allowed her legal team to try framing Kronk, “to portray him as a murderer and or kidnapper of Caylee Anthony,” according to Fox News.

Dick vividly recalled the day Casey was released. He noted Caylee had been missing for a total of 60 days at the time.

“First night getting her out… When she gets out, I’m driving her, [lead attorney Jose] Baez, Leonard [Padilla], going back to the family to [her parents] Cindy and George… We get in there. It’s just a surreal thing… You know what should happen. Here’s a mom in jail for the last 30 days.”

“Supposedly not knowing where her child is for 60 days now. First question… what do you think it would be? Have you heard anything?”

Casey’s former bodyguard recalls Anthony’s initial reaction to the horrible ordeal after being released from jail. According to her bodyguard, Casey didn’t ask a single question about her missing two-year-old daughter. Anthony acted as if everything was normal, according to the Radar Online.

“She was just completely happy, excited to see her parents. ‘What’s for dinner? Jail food sucks…’ There’s that moment right then that we’ve got a problem… It’s not about getting out and finding your child.”

It is not clear when Dick stopped being Casey’s bodyguard.

Authorities were first notified of Caylee’s disappearance nearly one month after she first went missing. Casey’s mother, Cindy Anthony, reported Caylee missing in July of 2008, according to CNN. The notification of the missing child was received the same day Casey moved in with her boyfriend. The move prompted increased speculation of Anthony’s guilt.

Prosecutors alleged Casey Anthony used chloroform to render her daughter unconscious. She proceeded to duct-tape her mouth and nose to suffocate her. They also alleged that before disposing of her child’s body, she put the body in the trunk of her car for a few days. Eventually, two-year-old Caylee Anthony’s skeletal remains were found that same year near Anthony’s family home in Orlando. The remains were discovered on December 11, 2008, by a former Orange County meter reader, according to CNN.

Anthony was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child, and four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to law enforcement, according to CNN.
