Rumors have been swirling that Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are preparing for another kid. While their youngest child, Novalee Reign, turns two in a few months, are the Teen Mom stars expecting a third baby?
Fortunately, Lowell finally opened up about the pregnancy rumors. Despite all the reports, Enstarz is reporting that Lowell slammed the idea of having a third child with Baltierra.
“After all of the rumors started circulating, I wanted to make this very clear… After just recovering from postpartum depression coupled with the fact that I’m on birth control, Tyler and I are not and will not be expecting for a few more years,” Lowell confessed.
“Sorry for the inconvenience,” Lowell concluded about the rumors.
The reality star also took to social media to put down the pregnancy talk. After a fan asked Lowell is she knew she was pregnant, she replied by saying, “Yea definitely not.”
According to In Touch Weekly, the pregnancy rumors first surfaced after Lowell shared a photo on Instagram that made it look like she was sporting a baby bump. Lowell’s caption on the image, which also featured Taylor McKinney and Maci Bookout, didn’t help matters.
“#thxbirthcontrol nine months from now I plan on being more awesome!! #stayprotected #safesex #isbestsex,” she wrote.
Fans were quick to pick up on the hint, with many asking Lowell if she was pregnant once again. For now, it doesn’t sound like Lowell and Baltierra are ready to expand their family by one.
The couple exchanged vows back in August of 2015 after being together for nearly ten years. Their relationship hasn’t been smooth sailing over the years, and tying the knot didn’t make anything better.
In fact, the Hollywood Gossip reports that Lowell went through a rough patch over the past few months. Following the birth of Novalee, the Teen Mom star battled postpartum depression and even had to go to rehab to work out her issues.
Despite the stint in rehab, Lowell is still fighting mental illness. This season, fans have watched Lowell struggle to get going some days, and her issues are clearly starting to take a toll on her marriage with Baltierra.
Given the mental struggles, it probably isn’t the best time for Lowell to have another baby. Thankfully, it sounds like Lowell is putting off future baby plans until she gets her life back to normal, and fans couldn’t agree more.
Shortly after the pregnancy reports surfaced, fans criticized Catelynn Lowell on social media for wanting to have another child. “The last thing you need is something else you aren’t capable of taking care of,” one fan noted.
Aside from the pregnancy rumors, OK Magazine is reporting that Lowell and Baltierra are preparing for the premiere of their own spin-off show, titled Reunited. The Teen Mom stars are using their celebrity status to reunite families with their adopted loved ones.
“I feel like if me and you are meant to do something, it’s this,” Baltierra told Lowell in a new promo. (see below)
As fans will recall, the pair was forced to put their first child, Carly, up for adoption on 16 & Pregnant. The reality show has documented their successes and struggles with the adoption process over the years, and it now looks like Baltierra and Lowell are giving back to the community.
In the trailer for the upcoming series, Baltierra and Lowell are shown helping reunite a young lady with her biological mom.
Fans can watch Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra in action when new episodes of Teen Mom OG air Monday nights on MTV. Reunited is set to air Monday nights on MTV starting on December 5.
