Four years after the couple’s last breakup, Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman have decided to call it quits for good.
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Danny Devito and his Cheers legend wife, Rhea Perlman have split up once again. Friends of the couple told Radar Online that “this time it looks like the end.”
It was only a month ago that Rhea Perlman was boasting about Devito, calling him her “hubby” on Twitter, but the two have apparently been living separate lives. Devito and Perlman have been married for 34 years. They are currently in the midst of discussing a $140 million divorce.
Danny and Rhea have three grown children together: Daniel, 29, Grace, 31, and Lucy, 33. According to sources, the pair has broken up and gotten back together many times before ultimately deciding on divorce.
“Danny and Rhea have broken up, gotten back together and broken up again.
“This time it looks like the end.”
The celebrity couple kept their relationship problems quiet for many years to protect their children.
“They’ve both been leading separate lives for a while now and it appears that it’s going to stay that way.
“The reason that they haven’t announced a bust-up is they wanted to keep it quiet for the sake of their grownup kids.”
Danny Devito has been accused of “womanizing” and was recently photographed with Sandra Seeling, director of Spain’s Evolution Film Festival.
A real estate source confirmed that the celebrity couple quietly sold their Beverly Hills mansion last year for $28 million in an off-the-market sale. It is very likely that the pair is preparing to sell their Malibu beach house next.
Devito and Perlman’s Malibu home was recently featured in a spread for Architectural Digest.
“It’s not uncommon for celebrities to have their homes in Architectural Digest before they are sold.
“It’s the best kind of advertisement you could hope for!”
Celebrity A-listers Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman married in 1982.
Trouble seemed to have started around 2012. Sources cited DeVito’s “womanizing ways” for the breakup, saying he “regularly ditched date nights with Rhea to party” with younger buddies.
Devito was also rumored to have had an extramarital girlfriend while he was doing a stage version of The Sunshine Boys in London the summer of 2012.
“Rhea finally snapped.
“She had enough of his bad-boy behavior and wanted to end their marriage.”
Daily Mail reported that the couple’s marriage was doomed because of Devito’s “wandering eye.”
“Danny can be quite the flirt and because of his powerful status in Hollywood, he’s not ashamed to abuse his position and chat-up young, aspiring woman looking to make it in the industry.”
However, Devito must have worked some magic and begged on his knees because the couple reconciled in 2013.

“Rhea cares a lot about Danny.
“But she realized he’s probably never going to change!”
Rhea Perlman kept herself occupied by jumping into a new project. She has been shooting a new comedy, Me and My Grandma, for YouTube Red’s streaming service.
Meanwhile, Danny Devito has been on the set of the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s play, The Price, which is set to open February 16.
