Jessa Duggar Hints At Baby Twins News On ‘Jill And Jessa Counting On’ As Jinger & Jeremy And Joy-Anna & Austin Start New Lives
The Duggars had a full season of activities. With Jessa nearing her due date, Jinger getting married to Jeremy Vuolo and Joy-Anna and Austin courting, they have not had a single week where something big did not happen. And now that they are nearing 2017, Jill and Jessa Counting On promises to hold many pleasant surprises for the fans!
Jessa Duggar in particular has a big thing to look forward to in the new year – her second baby delivery! Unlike the first time around, the Counting On star has not been giving regular updates on her baby bump on Instagram, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t excited to meet her second child.
In the latest trailer for Counting On, Jill and Jessa put their midwifery skills to use as they attempted to hear Jessa’s baby’s heart beat.
“We don’t know if it’s twins or just one,” Jessa said in the video.
As they listened closely to the heartbeat detected by a machine that they are using, they came to a conclusion that there may be a pleasant surprise in store for the Duggars.
“It could be just one baby with good variability in the heart beat or it could be two different babies,” Jill added finally.
Looking at their family history, it isn’t unlikely that Jessa may indeed be having twins. Her mother, Michelle Duggar, gave birth to 19 k, including a set of twins. It was also at her second pregnancy, giving birth to Jana and John-David on January 12, 1990. So if Jessa has baby twins this time, she would be mimicking her mother’s pattern!
Despite the fact that she is heavily pregnant, Jessa has been keeping herself very active. While her baby bump updates on Instagram are hard to find, she has been throwing herself into family-oriented activities. She was the maid of honor at Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding, showing that she can still be fabulous while being almost six months pregnant with her second baby.
“At about 27 weeks along, pregnant Jessa Duggar, 24, showed up to her little sister, Jinger Duggar’s, 22, wedding on Nov. 5 looking fabulous and healthy,” reports Hollywood Life. “The Counting On star, who’s married to Ben Seewald, 21, flaunted her baby bump in a delicate magenta lace gown as she was one of Jinger’s bridesmaids along with their older sister Jill, 25.”

But Jessa and Ben Seewald aren’t the only people with big news. Perhaps the person getting the most amount of attention is Joy-Anna Duggar, who just started her courtship with Austin Forsythe.
Those that are not familiar with what “courtship” means in Duggar circles, it means dating with the intention to marry.
Joy-Anna turned 19 recently, and with Jinger married off, her parents Jim Bob and Michelle thought it prudent to announce that she is now courting Austin, whom she has know for 14 years, earlier this month.
“I just asked her to enter a courtship with me,” Austin said, according to RadarOnline. “Almost 15 years. I picked this spot because last time we were here together was August 1, 2015.”
“There was a whole group of us that came up,” Joy-Anna continued. “And we were just hanging out and it was really late at night, stars were just gorgeous. For me that’s really special, but then just being with him. And then now it’s even more special because it’s where we start our courtship.”
“I hadn’t been here in so long,” she said. “I was not expecting this. So happy.”
Here’s to hoping that Joy-Anna’s courtship with Austin will go as smoothly as her other sisters’ did.
