Jessa Duggar Pregnant, Hides Baby Bump On Seewald Family Blog And Instagram After Jinger Duggar’s Wedding
Jessa is the only pregnant Duggar girl, but there has not been much news coverage about that. With Jinger getting married to Jeremy and Jill and Derick Dillard in the U.S. after a stint in El Salvador, it looks like the mother of one can’t seem to catch a break in the public eye.
However, it is starting to look like Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, are not actually trying to show off her baby bump too much. Despite the fact that the Jill and Jessa Counting On star gave many updates during her pregnancy with baby Spurgeon, Jessa doesn’t seem too eager to share her second baby bump with the world this time.
The 24-year-old mother has shared exactly one picture of her baby bump on Instagram about halfway into her pregnancy. It was her way to compare her first time with this one, showing her fans how her body has changed and has returned to the same shape now that she is pregnant with Ben’s second child.

That doesn’t mean that she is less excited about this baby. She and Ben Seewald shared the baby news with much enthusiasm and joy, making sure that they keep their fans’ excitement level up.
“We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as ‘big brother’,” she wrote on her family blog. “We are so thankful that God is adding to our family. 2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful year already and we know Spurgeon will do a great job in his new role. Having Spurgeon has been such a wonderful blessing and we cannot wait to see the face of this sweet new baby (or babies!).”
She publicly debuted her baby bump at Jinger Duggar’s wedding as a maid of honor. She wore a ravishing purple dress that emphasized her curves.
“At about 27 weeks along, pregnant Jessa Duggar, 24, showed up to her little sister, Jinger Duggar’s, 22, wedding on Nov. 5 looking fabulous and healthy,” reports Hollywood Life. “The Counting On star, who’s married to Ben Seewald, 21, flaunted her baby bump in a delicate magenta lace gown as she was one of Jinger’s bridesmaids along with their older sister Jill, 25.”

But on Seewald family blog and Instagram, it’s difficult to tell if Jessa is pregnant. In the latest post about her son Spurgeon trying his hand at playing the piano, the viewers cannot tell if she is pregnant or not, as her baby son is effectively hiding her bump.
Maybe the fact that she has been so busy during this pregnancy has kept her from giving regular updates on Instagram or the family blog. Just in the last month, she celebrated her 24th birthday, baby Spurgeon’s first birthday, served as a maid of honor for Jinger Duggar’s wedding, and debuted the new season of Jill and Jessa Counting On.
Her own family did not forget to celebrate her birthday in style.
“Jessa Blessa, you are a blessing to us,” Ben wrote on his Instagram. “Happy Birthday! You went from being a high energy fun loving child, to a fun loving, responsible, mature, visionary, virtuous wife and mother. You have inspired thousands of young ladies to seek God, to wait for the one God has for them, and set an example how to dress modern, but modest.”
