Drake & Kanye West Feud: Drake ‘Takes Shots’ At Kanye After Latest Rant, ‘Stop Crying And Make Songs’

Drake is allegedly ramping up his reported feud with Kanye West and taking shots at his fellow rapper after taking home three awards at the 2016 American Music Awards on November 20.

Fans were quick to claim that Drake took serious aim at Kanye on Instagram after his big win at the award show, alleging that the “Hotline Bling” rapper slammed West amid the feud reports and seemingly suggested that Kanye needs to “stop crying” and focus on making music after going on yet another bizarre rant during a recent concert.

Twitter user @PhillyCustoms tweeted out a screen shot of Drake’s comment on an Instagram post by DJ Khaled, which congratulated Drake on taking home three American Music Awards for Favorite Artist – Rap/Hip-Hop, Favorite Album – Rap/Hip-Hop and Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop.

According to the screen shot uploaded to the social media site on November 21, Drake commented on DJ Khalid’s post, “Some bwoy need fi make some song and stop cry” alongside a star and a trophy emoji.

“Drake took a shot at Kanye in DJ Khaled’s Instagram comments,” the Twitter user claimed alongside the Instagram screen shot, suggesting that Drake is now reigniting his feud with West after Kanye accused Drake and Khaled of manipulating airplay for their collaboration “For Free” earlier this week.

Fans were then quick to throw in their two cents amid the feud rumors, slamming Drake for appearing to throw shade Kanye’s way and alleging that Drake’s pretty scathing comment on the social media site was the rapper’s somewhat cryptic way of telling Kanye to stop ranting and focus on his music, though he has not yet confirmed if he was in fact dissing West on the social media site.

“Fair enough. Kanye should stop crying and get on with his craft, but drake needs to stop talking like this,” Twitter user @MrPolo_ tweeted out following Drake’s diss alongside a screen shot of the comments, while @PhillyCustoms added, “Drake taking a shot at Kanye after all that cause Kanye said ‘for free’ got too much radio play just shows how fickle that relationship is.”

Notably, Drake’s apparent Kanye West diss came just days after West went on yet another rant during a stop on his “Saint Pablo Tour” in Sacramento, California, amid their alleged feud, calling out Drake and Beyoncé before Fox News reported that Kanye then canceled his next show in Los Angeles following his latest meltdown.

HipHop-N-More.com reported that West reignited his feud with Drake during his rant, claiming during a lengthy on-stage monologue that he believes Drake’s recent collaboration with DJ Khalid “For Free” didn’t have organic airplay before then, alleging that Beyoncé only performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in August if she won Video of the Year over himself and Drake.

According to the site, Kanye put Drake on serious blast during his latest rant, claiming while on stage that Drake and DJ Khaled “set up their song ‘For Free’ in a manner where the radio would play it innumerable times,” therefore getting the song more airplay.

Drake and DJ Khaled have not officially responded to Kanye’s accusations, though it seems like Drake’s recent slam on Khaled’s Instagram page appears to now be all but confirming their feud following West’s accusations.

Notably, Drake’s apparent diss following West’s latest remarks also comes just months after the two rappers confirmed that they were working on a joint album, though it’s not clear if their alleged feud is now overshadowing a potential collaborative album.

Kanye made the joint album admission to Vogue back in September, just weeks before their apparent feud appeared to boil over, where West confirmed that he’s been hitting the studio with Drake.

“We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio,” West told Vogue of working with Drake at the time. “We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.”
