The National Enquirer is still printing fake stories about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Gossip Cop summarizes their latest rumor, which appears in this week’s print edition of the tabloid.
“A so-called ‘source’ tells the National Enquirer, in very unnatural language, that the famous couple dropped in for a date night at the gourmet restaurant and ordered a giant steak to share, but just as the sizzling treat hit the table, Kanye took a phone call – and looking very agitated – whispered urgently to Kim.”
The article adds that an “insider” claimed the pair abruptly bolted from the table and split without paying the bill. However, in the same article, Gossip Cop calls foul play on the story.
“Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did NOT leave a fancy Brentwood restaurant without paying their bill, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s false,” says columnist Andrew Shuster, adding that not only did the National Enquirer never say when or where the incident took place, but Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Kim Kardashian, who assured that this story is complete bogus.
This isn’t the first rumor Gossip Cop had to debunk this week. The latest print edition of In Touch falsely claimed that Kardashian is terrified that many of her secrets will be revealed by a former bodyguard. Gossip Cop summarized the false story that appeared in In Touch’s print edition.
“The reality star’s longtime bodyguard Pascal Duvier was fired after she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel last month. But according to In Touch, it was Kanye West who forced Kardashian to let him go.”
In Touch claimed this is important because since Kim has let go of so many bodyguards, she is afraid one of them wants to get revenge and reveal some deep secrets about her family. The tabloid actually wanted its readers to believe Kim thinks her whole life could be ruined because of this. However, Gossip Cop has confirmed that this story is completely bogus.
“Kim Kardashian is NOT in fear that one of her former bodyguards will reveal her darkest secrets, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s not true,” said columnist Andrew Shuster, who added that the website actually checked in with a reliable source who claimed that Kardashian is anything but worried about former employees and their secrets.
There is one thing in the Kardashian-West clan that isn’t a rumor — both she and Kanye West have very different political views. As People noted, West announced at a San Jose concert that he didn’t vote, but if he did, it would have been for Donald Trump. However, West says he’s not a social conservative; he supports groups like #BlackLivesMatter. He is also a strong supporter of the LGBT community.
“This statement doesn’t seem to align with his wife’s political views: She’s been open about her support for Hillary Clinton — though she briefly seemed to flirt with the idea of voting for Trump a few months prior to the election, after speaking with self-declared Republican Caitlyn Jenner,” says columnist Diana Pearl, who adds that the deciding factor for Kardashian was Clinton’s support of gun control and women’s reproductive rights.
If anything, Kim and Kanye prove that a family can get along no matter what their political views are. Let’s hope the rest of the country takes cues from Kardashian and West in these awfully divisive times.
