Kourtney Kardashian And Scott Disick Back Together — Inside His Plans To ‘Make Things Work’

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are trying to rekindle their romance. People is reporting that Kourtney and Disick just spent a weekend together in Cabo San Lucas and want to get back together. Will they reconcile or remain good friends?

“Scott set it all up and [it] was a way to try and make things work again with Kourtney,” an insider told the outlet. “He surprised her and whisked her away on this trip.”

Kourtney and Disick have three kids together – Mason (six), Penelope (four), and Reign (23 months). They have been together on-and-off for the past nine years. Despite their relationship troubles, the source revealed that they were “very close and happy” during the Mexican getaway.

Kourtney shared photos from the trip on social media. The images show the reality star sporting a string bikini while her estranged husband donned floral patterned swim shorts. The couple appeared in high spirits while they lounged and played poolside.

Extra TV reports that Disick even took to social media and posted an Instagram shot of Kourtney standing in the pool. “Views,” he wrote alongside the photo, which showed off Kourtney’s sexy booty.

Kourtney has remained in close contact with Disick ever since they separated in 2015. In fact, the two work hard in co-parenting their children and are committed to raising them in a healthy environment.

Even still, Kourtney has been hesitant to rekindle things with Disick. Recently, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star expressed concern over going to Disick’s birthday bash, which was held in Las Vegas. Kourtney was apparently worried about sending the wrong signals to Disick and didn’t want to get his hopes up.

“I’m just not sure if I wanna go,” Kourtney admitted to the cameras. “I mean I’m so happy that Scott and I are getting along so well and that we’re co-parenting, but I think hanging out with Scott without the kids … Scott can just take any little thing and run with it and think that like we’re getting back together tomorrow.”

Kourtney admitted that a lot of issues still need to be flushed out before she can get back with Disick. For now, she’s having a hard time even thinking about reconciling and just wants to focus on raising the kids instead of rekindling a romance.

“The idea of having my family together is amazing, but it’s not the way things ended up. They may end up there. I’m not sure. To me, it’s in God’s hands. If it’s meant to be, then things will line up,” she added. “We definitely tried for a long time. But relationships are exhausting! Being able to focus on the kids and me right now is good. We say to each other all the time, ‘I’m the coolest ex-girlfriend/baby mama you could ever ask for!'”

That being said, the recent vacation in Mexico indicates that things are looking up for Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. An insider even told Hollywood Life that Kourtney is ready to give Disick a second chance and is still in love with him.

“Kourtney and Scott have never been able to stay away from each other for a long period of time. This whole time [they’ve been broken up] he’s been texting her and calling her to tell her he’s still in love with her,” the insider revealed.

Considering how many times Disick has betrayed Kourtney, she is taking things very slowly this time around. If Disick is able to behave himself and prove that he can be a good husband and father, then it appears like a reunion is all but a done deal.

“He’s hurt her so many times that she wanted to believe she was done with him for good, but the truth is she’s still in love with him too,” the source continued. “Right now, they’re trying things out, but Kourtney is insisting on taking things slowly and making sure Scott can behave himself.”

Meanwhile, apart from their trip to Cabo San Lucas, TMZ is reporting that Kourtney and Disick were on hand to congratulate Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian on the birth of their new baby girl. The pair showed up at Cedars-Sinai hospital together to meet the newest member of the family, baby Dream Kardashian.

Given how Kourtney and Disick are well-experienced parents, it’s a sure thing that Rob and Chyna will place them high on the list of babysitters. If the two rekindle their romance, then they’ll be sharing the babysitting duties together.

According to Perez Hilton, Kourtney congratulated the new parents on social media. Shortly after the baby was born, Kourtney commented on a picture of the newborn, saying, “I love u Bobby!! She’s an angel.”

The reality star proceeded to show some love for Chyna by following her on Instagram. Other members of the Kardashian clan, including Khloe, have since chimed in and congratulated Rob on his first baby.
