Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Jeremy Vuolo Give Update: Are They Okay After New Zealand Earthquake?

Fans of Counting On have been worried about Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo. Jinger Dugger just got married to Jeremy, and the two are currently on their honeymoon. Part of their honeymoon took place in New Zealand, where a huge earthquake recently took place. Thankfully, Michelle Duggar recently shared an update on how they are doing. Michelle went to the Duggar Family Official Facebook page to provide some updates for fans.

BBC News shared that New Zealand has dealt with several aftershocks in the past few days. It sounds like Jeremy and Jinger are very lucky that they were not there when this happened. The town of Kaikoura has been cut off by landslides, and approximately 1,000 tourists are stranded there at this time. Military helicopters are helping them get out of the area.

Everyone has been waiting to hear from Jeremy and Jinger. Here is what Michelle shared today on the family’s Facebook fan page.

“Sweet friends, thank you so much for asking about Jeremy and Jinger. They were in Australia when the earthquake hit New Zealand. They are safe and sound. Please join us in praying for everyone in New Zealand impacted by the earthquake.”

It is great to hear from Michelle Duggar that Jinger and Jeremy had moved on to the Australian part of their honeymoon before the earthquake, and the family is praying for New Zealand. The first earthquake registered as a 7.8-magnitude, but the aftershocks haven’t been small either.

People also shared that Jinger and Jeremy have given fans update on their honeymoon and what they have been up to, and it looks like these two are having a great time. They are currently enjoying their honeymoon in Australia, and the newlyweds shared a sweet picture taken at the Sydney Opera House, which overlooks Sydney Harbour. Jeremy is ready to “experience the cultural foods,” and Jinger Duggar Vuolo wants to see a kangaroo and try the local food and coffee.

Last Friday, Jeremy shared a message with fans, saying, “We wanted to say thank you for all of your support and all of your prayers. We appreciate them, and they’re much needed as we begin this new journey in life together.”

Jeremy seems to be doing a great job of reaching out to the fans.

Once Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Jeremy Vuolo get back from their honeymoon, they will start their life together in Texas. Everyone is excited to see how it goes. Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding hasn’t aired yet either, but that will appear on a new episode of Counting On soon. This will be great for everyone to get to see. There have been pictures of Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding shared already.

Jinger isn’t the first of the Duggar daughters to move away from home after getting married, but Jill and Derick still return home now and then. Arkansas is where they call home, even though they are off doing mission trips most of the time. Jinger will live in Texas and only coming home for trips. It is going to be hard for the family not having Jinger there anymore, but moving to be with her husband where he lives is what she feels is the right thing to do.
