‘This Is Us’ Spoilers: How Did Jack Really Die?

Although the latest This is Us episode was pre-empted for the election, a new episode of NBC’s hit show will premiere tomorrow in its usual time slot. And the latest This is Us spoilers suggest that we are getting closer to the big reveal of how Jack Pearson really met his final fate!

According to the latest This is Us spoilers revealed by Us Magazine, Justin Hartley — better known as The Manny, Kevin Pearson — revealed that the crying for us is just beginning. And given how some of the actors have been crying at the table reads — including Mandy Moore, who plays his mom, Rebecca Pearson — it looks like we’re going to learn how Jack really died in the coming episodes.

Justin said as follows.

“Oh, people cry during table reads. And even better when we’re filming the show, if you see any of the characters crying on the show — that’s real! I think we all relate to each individual character so well — I know Chrissy does, I do, Sterling does for sure, and Milo’s not a father but you would swear to God he was the way he relates to his character. Mandy does, too, for sure.”

Certainly, too, we’ll see how some of the family rifts occurred this week, according to the latest This is Us spoilers revealed by the TV Guide blog. The outlet spoke to Mandy Moore, who has the dual duty of playing a 20-year-old Rebecca and a 60-year-old Rebecca, who revealed that we’d be most surprised to see how Randall and Rebecca’s relationship suffers a strain due to Randall’s newfound relationship with the biological father he never knew.

Mandy said as follows.

“They’re a family and they’re going to spend the holidays together. There are some revelations over the holidays that really force a wedge in the middle of this family — and maybe a wedge in their relationship.”

We’ll recall that, when Randall was first born, Rebecca extracted a promise from William to never again come into his son’s life, or she would refuse to raise Randall. However, now that William is back in his son’s life — even after all these years — there could be some unaddressed issues between Rebecca and William that will come up, and certainly, Randall will be devastated when he finds out the truth about his mother’s confrontation with William all those years ago.

Finally, the latest This is Us spoilers revealed by CarterMatt.com suggest that we’re going to see more of Kevin and Randall’s relationship developing, especially now that they’re adults.

We’ll recall that, in the previous episode, Randall’s daughters are revealed to be completely enthralled by their “Uncle Kevin,” even though there’s a visible rift in Kevin and Randall’s relationship that seems to have its roots in their childhood. Part of the rift between Kevin and Randall, it seemed, has to do with a young Kevin feeling sidelined as a result of Randall being “different” from himself and from Kate, and it’s this tension that extended through adulthood.

However, when Kevin moves to New York City, we see his relationship with Randall begin to take a turn for the better, especially as he grows closer to his two nieces (recall the “This is Us” monologue that Kevin gave his two young nieces when explaining death to them). We’ll see this relationship further developing in this new episode, which will air tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. EST on NBC.
