‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Meghan King Edmonds ‘Broke’ After Leaving Season 11?

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds may not be returning to the hit Bravo series for Season 12. The 3 2-year-old reality star explained that after seeing how her RHOC co-stars behaved in front of the camera, she was having doubts about raising her daughter in such a toxic environment.

According to Radar Online, Meghan King Edmonds admitted that she was “contemplating a permanent move back to St. Louis.” In The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 finale, Meghan shared that she did not want to raise her daughter with Jim in California seeing how horrible her co-stars were capable of being.

“I’ve seen a lot that I don’t like this year. And I feel these other women are really going too far. If this is the kind of example my child has to look forward to in the O.C., I don’t know if I want to be around for that.”

During Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 reunion special, Meghan got a little emotional talking about her IVF journey. Meghan admitted that it had been difficult going through the process without Jim by her side. The RHOC star also revealed that she still thinks about the miscarriage from time to time.

“I’m so lucky in so many ways to have IVF to work for the first time. I’m pregnant with a healthy baby and I don’t overlook any of that but that doesn’t negate the fact that I had a loss.”

When Tamra Judge stopped by Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast, The Real Housewives of Orange County star shared that she doesn’t know if Meghan will be coming back. She, however, hinted that Season 11 may just be Meghan’s last.

Tamra also revealed that the Bravo producers are already casting new Housewives for Season 12. If it were up to her, Tamra wanted RHOC producers to hire housewives who already have a “natural connection” with the existing cast members. The Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed that castings usually start even before the original cast went through contact negotiations.

“They start casting every single year, well before we even get asked back. If somebody during negotiations drops out, or if somebody gets let go, then they have all these back-ups of people… because going through casting, it’s time-consuming,” Tamra explained.

When asked what it would take for one to be on the show, Tamra said that producers and Bravo wanted people who have families willing to be in front of the camera from time to time. Unless it was Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa, who the producers were courting for years. Unfortunately, she’s never shown interest in being on RHOC.

In other news, Radar Online recently reported that there could be another “broke” Real Housewives star. Meghan King Edmonds revealed that she loves shopping at Goodwill about once a month and the site took it as a sign that the RHOC star is already “counting pennies” for her daughter’s college fund.

Meghan told The Penny Hoarder that she has gotten “obsessed” buying clothes on Goodwill and Craigslist. She pointed out that kids grow out of their clothes so fast that it would be pointless to buy new ones every time.

“Lately I’ve been obsessed with sports shorts for my stepdaughter because they are so expensive to buy new and she just ruins them or grows out of them anyway,” Meghan shared.

Meghan also loves to shop on Craigslist but uses a man’s name just to be on the safe side. She revealed that she usually shares her findings with The Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Shannon Beador who is also a fan of shopping at consignment stores.
