Will Prince Harry Introduce Meghan Markle To Grandma, The Queen Of England?

Love is in the air! Was there any need to wonder why Meghan Markle needed to take time off of Suits earlier this week? Many who are following Prince Harry and the royal family may not be too surprised to discover that the Daily Mail has spotted the American actress on the Great Britain side of the pond, shopping in Kensington High Street. The self-confessed foodie was wearing Prince Harry’s baseball cap, and carrying around two heaping bags from the three-story Whole Foods store. Looks like she will be preparing some home-cooked meals for Harry and perhaps other members of his family!

Now, the source states that the entire royal family will coincidentally and uncharacteristically all happen to be in London at the same time this weekend. The speculation is that the 35-year-old actress is going to meet her smitten beau’s entire family. Now the question is, could Meghan Markle soon be Princess Meghan?

Just a few days ago, the royal family issued a statement announcing that Meghan Markle was Prince Harry’s girlfriend and asked that the paparazzi and bullies step back from the actress and family. The statement even stated that Harry was distressed because he could not “protect her.” This sounds quite chivalrous and quite like a devoted prince!

Now, the Daily Mail has reported that things are are so serious that Markle is staying at the cozy Nottingham Cottage, the former bijou Kensington Palace home of William and Kate. Perhaps Meghan was purchasing ingredients for an intimate dinner together? There was no chance of meeting with Kate and William, Harry’s next door neighbors, as William was hosting a charity event for a homeless shelter. Obviously shielding Meghan from further discomfort, they were not in attendance at the exclusive soiree, which prominently included Harry’s reported ex Ellie Goulding.

Today, Great Britain in commemorating Armistice Day, the 98th anniversary of the end of World War 1. Prince Harry laid a wreath at the Armed Forces Memorial. Markle was seen with a poppy on her lapel, the symbol for Armistice Day. Harry wore the ceremonial uniform from the era that includes the navy Household Division frock coat and red and navy peaked cap. It should be noted that those serving needed to be clean shaven, unlike Harry and his full beard.

The entire weekend has more commemorations that will be attended by the royal family. It is expected that with the perfect storm of every family member in town, Markle is expected to be formally introduced into the family. Could this just be an introduction or could this an announcement? No doubt, this is when Prince Harry will introduce his lady love to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. No doubt, their romantic love story is far from over.

It is hard to believe that 2016 is going to end with Harry finding his perfect match. Before ever meeting the Fringe actress, the Telegraph had reported Harry’s confession of how hard it was to date.

“Even if I talk to a girl, that person is then suddenly my wife, and people go knocking on her door. If or when I do find a girlfriend, I will do my utmost… to ensure that me and her can get to the point where we’re actually comfortable with each other before the massive invasion that is inevitably going to happen into her privacy.”

How was he to know that later this year, he would meet someone so fantastic that he has already introduced her to his father, Prince Charles?

“To be fair, I haven’t had that many opportunities to get out there and meet people. At the moment, my focus is very much on work. But if someone slips into my life then that’s absolutely fantastic.”

And a fantastic woman is what he found — a seemingly perfect match. Besides being a beautiful and talented actress, Markle is quite philanthropic. She has spoken at the United Nations and has done a lot of humanitarian work in Africa. Harry does not have to introduce her into his world of charitable events and public speaking — she is already a pro!
