Latest Florida Polls: Donald Trump Closer To POTUS, According To Recent Numbers

The latest Florida polls show Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in a dead heat just one day before the general election. According to CBS News, the presidential nominees are tied in Ohio and in Florida, two key battleground states that will help determine who becomes the next POTUS. Trump has trailed previously in these states, though not by much, but the latest polls indicate that both states could end up going red on Tuesday.

“In Ohio and Florida the races are tight and the trend line is toward Donald Trump. Trump has the narrowest of leads — up one point in Ohio, and Florida is even. Trump’s most likely electoral map all but requires him to win both these states, in addition to others.”

The latest Florida polls have leaned in Donald Trump’s favor after he spent quite a bit of his time campaigning there. In fact, Trump has focused a lot of his time on the battleground states, clearly knowing that he’d need to win most of them in order to become president. Overall, Donald Trump has spent more time in these states — especially in Florida — since announcing his campaign.

The latest Florida polls indicate that Hillary Clinton is more popular amongst early voters, but Donald Trump scores higher with residents who plan on casting their votes on Election Day. Since he began his campaign, Trump’s likability amongst his own party has risen substantially in the state of Florida.

According to CBS News, Trump increased from 82 percent to now 86 percent amongst Republican voters in the state.

“In Florida, Clinton is up in the preferences of those who report voting early, Trump is up with those who plan to vote on Election Day. This might be an advantage to Clinton in the end — as these votes are in the bank — but Trump’s self-reported planned Election Day vote is a large lead, so strong turnout could ultimately propel him.”

The latest Florida polls should be taken into consideration when thinking about how this election will go on Tuesday. According to WFTV, nearly half of Florida’s registered voters have already voted. The Florida Division of Elections has reported that 48 percent of registered voters have already done their part, some voting by mail while others visited an early polling site. While the remaining 52 percent of voters could still sway the numbers, it seems obvious that this race to the White House is tighter than ever.

The latest Florida polls are being watched by millions of people all over the country. Many people feel that the state of Florida is going to decide this election, so poll numbers in the state are extremely important. Donald Trump seems to be surging in quite a few battleground states at this time.

According to Breitbart, Hillary Clinton is leading by a wide margin in Wisconsin, but Trump’s showing really solid poll numbers in North Carolina.

“We’re looking at a margin of error race in seven of the eight battleground states we surveyed. Either one of these candidates could realistically run the table in these seven states. The big question is if Donald Trump can mobilize his voters and get them to the polls, if he can’t then he will lose,” stated the Director of Remington Research Group Titus Bond.

If the latest Florida polls are correct, Trump will take Florida with ease tomorrow.
