Jinger Duggar’s Wedding: Did Amy Duggar And Josh Duggar Attend Event Filmed For ‘Counting On’?

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo invited close to 1,000 people to their November 5 wedding, which was filmed for the Duggar family’s TLC reality series, Counting On. Two of Jinger’s family members, her older brother Josh and her cousin Amy, haven’t appeared on the show at all, so did they receive wedding invitations? Or were they left off the guest list because there would be TLC cameras at the event?

As People reports, Jinger Duggar and Texas pastor Jeremy Vuolo tied the knot on Saturday afternoon in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Their ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University, and it was much larger than Jinger and Jeremy previously said it would be. In August, Jeremy Vuolo told Us Weekly that the event would be unlike Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar’s large weddings, which both had about 1,000 guests in attendance. Jeremy said that he and Jinger wanted their ceremony to be “intimate, between family and friends,” but their guest list grew to be just as long as those of Jessa and Jill.

One notable person who did not attend the wedding was Jinger Duggar’s cousin, Amy Duggar King. On Saturday, Amy took to Instagram to reveal that she and her husband, Dillon King, were at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. According to the Specialty Equipment Market Association website, the SEMA Show is “the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world.”

It appears that Dillon was there to show off his seriously souped-up Chevy Silverado. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Amy also showed off her Pretty Woman-inspired Halloween costume during their week-long Vegas vacation.

There’s no word on why Amy Duggar didn’t attend Jinger’s wedding. However, her absence could have something to do with the event being filmed for Counting On. For an unknown reason, the former 19 Kids and Counting star has opted against appearing on her cousins’ new TLC series.

Perhaps Amy’s decision is related to a falling out with her famous relatives. As Us Weekly reports, she dropped a hint that her relationship with her aunt and uncle, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, had soured when she revealed that the parents of 19 don’t trust her around their adult kids.

She made this revelation in response to an Instagram follower who asked her if Jinger Duggar and the other Duggar girls are allowed to hang out at her house.

“Hey there! we’ve had a girls night before and have gone out to eat,” Amy wrote. “It’s a rule though that if I want to spend quality time with them I have to come see them. They don’t want me to influence them.”

However, on November 4, Amy Duggar revealed that she bears no ill toward Jinger by taking to Instagram to let her cousin know that she loves her and misses her.

Perhaps Amy Duggar decided to avoid the Counting On cameras at Jinger’s wedding because she wants to be a star in her own right. As Cinemablend reports, Amy and Dillon may be shooting their own reality series or TLC special. Another possibility? Amy is still angry at Josh for cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar, and didn’t want to run into her scandal-plagued cousin at Jinger’s wedding. According to the Daily Mail, Josh was in attendance at the event. In paparazzi photos, he can be seen smiling as Jinger and Jeremy drive away from the church in a silver Jaguar. As People reports, Josh is currently making a living selling used cars, so it’s possible that the Jaguar was a loan from him.

So far, Josh has not appeared on Counting On, likely due to the controversy caused by his sex scandals. TLC has not revealed whether it will edit him out of Jinger’s wedding special footage.

Last September, Amy told People that she was “furious” with Josh for being unfaithful to Anna Duggar. Josh did not attend Amy’s 2015 Labor Day weekend wedding, but the rest of the Duggar family did. His cheating scandal cast a dark shadow over the happy event, and Amy and Dillon were disappointed that TLC decided not to film it, as previously reported by the Inquisitr.

Jinger Duggar’s wedding was definitely filmed, and Counting On fans can watch it when the TLC special Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding airs Tuesday, November 15 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
