Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Wedding On Hold! But They Promise ‘It Will Be Worth The Wait’

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are putting their wedding plans on hold. The couple was gearing up for a Christmas wedding, but Life & Style reports their plans for holiday nuptials have changed.

Why did The Voice stars suddenly decide to slow down their heated romance?

“Gwen’s friends kept telling her to slow down and not rush into things,” one source told the outlet. “So she and Blake decided to take their advice.”

Stefani and Shelton went through respective divorces in 2015, so it’s understandable that they would want to think things through before tying the knot once again.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry is reporting that the real reason behind the delay is a breakdown in the negotiations for their prenup. Blake is willing to give Gwen anything she wants, but Gwen is trying to protect her fortune and the future for her boys. Despite the delay in wedding plans and stalled prenup negotiations, Stefani’s relationship with the country crooner is not suffering.

Instead, the extra time allows them to plan the perfect ceremony and honeymoon destination.

“They would love to go somewhere tropical like Tahiti or Hawaii,” the insider added.

According to Life & Style, the couple is also planning on expanding their family by at least one more child. Rumors of Stefani’s pregnancy are nothing new, and it now sounds like the pair wants to have a kid together by the end of next year.

“They want to have a little girl in their arms by the end of 2017,” the source explained.

With Shelton’s relationship with Stefani heading to another level, E! News is reporting that his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, is starting to move on with her life. Lambert just put the Tennessee mansion she shared with Blake Shelton on the market. The massive home is listed at 11,000 square feet.

After filing for divorce in the summer of 2015, a judge awarded the Tennessee mansion to Lambert while Shelton got to keep their extensive ranch in Oklahoma. The Tennessee property was just placed on the market, and Lambert has already received an offer. It isn’t known what the potential buyer offered Lambert, although the home is priced at around the $2.6 million mark. Shelton and Lambert purchased the mansion three years ago for $2.26 million.

If Lambert gets what she’s asking for the place, then she should net a nice profit from the sale. Whoever buys the home will find themselves quite comfortable in Brentwood’s gated community; not to mention the mansion boasts five large bedrooms and a staggering eight bathrooms. When it comes to the master suite, the room features a large octagon shaped sitting room complete with a bar and fireplace. The mansion also comes equipped with a spiral staircase, wood flooring, and stone columns in the dining room.

Lambert’s place also comes with a good amount of entertainment options, including a massive movie theater, a fitness center, a rec room, a private golf course, and, of course, a swimming pool for those hot Tennessee summers.

With so many amenities, it’s no wonder that Lambert already has interested buyers. In addition to the house, the property includes a 400-acre farm that Lambert bought for over $3 million. Three different residences are scattered throughout the property, which also includes a lake, a boathouse, and a huge six-bay garage. As if that wasn’t enough, the estate boasts a pavilion that has the capacity to seat 60 people. For Lambert, selling the property is yet another step in moving on with her life.

Speaking of moving on, Fox News reports that Stefani recently opened up about her divorce with Gavin Rossdale. Stefani was married to the Bush frontman for almost 13 years. The couple had three boys together; Kingston (10), Zuma (8), and Apollo (2). When asked about her roller coaster of a year, which included her romance with Shelton and the release of her first album in a decade, Stefani admitted that she needed to be “woken up again.”

“Sometimes to be woken up again in life, you need to go through some really bad, hard times,” she explained. “I feel like I got woken up this year.”

Although Stefani is happy with Blake Shelton, she explained how her divorce with Rossdale was very embarrassing at first.

“I don’t think you’ll talk to one person who didn’t make it in a marriage who’s not gonna feel that way,” she said. “The intention of being married is the vow, right? You want to put everything into it to make it a success. And all I had to look at was the huge success of my parents: They just had their fiftieth anniversary.”

Despite the emotional divorce, Stefani bounced back with a new album this year. Coupled with her romance with Shelton, Stefani couldn’t be happier with how things turned out.

“I’m in a different place now,” she dished. “I’m in such a new place. It’s all about the future for me. Not really just the future – but the moment right now.

“It doesn’t matter what comes out of this, as far as my career – this isn’t about a hit,” she continued. “It’s about saving my life.”
