Kailyn Lowry Done Being A Reality Star: ‘Teen Mom’ Star Wants To Be Known For Something Else

Kailyn Lowry isn’t the first Teen Mom star who has talked about the show coming to an end. Even though the hit MTV show that has given fame and fortune to several young mothers, these stars are getting tired of being in the spotlight. It’s no secret that some of the girls are tired of being on a reality show. While the paychecks are probably great for them to get through school and take care of their children, some of the girls are tired of being judged in the public eye. Lowry and Chelsea Houska have both said that they are ready to move and start living their lives in private.

According to a new Radar Online report, Kailyn Lowry is now revealing that she wants to be known for something other than Teen Mom and her failed marriage to Javi Marroquin. When she announced her divorce from Javi, she started writing a book about her life called Hustle & Heart. And it sounds like now that she’s done her bachelor’s degree, Lowry is ready to do something else to inspire people. She’s ready to be known for something other than being a reality star.

“When I complained to [a friend] about filming for Teen Mom and said that I wanted to be known for other things outside of that, he just told me to ride the wave until I get to where I want to be,” Kailyn Lowry revealed in her newest book, Hustle & Heart, which will be released later this month.

Kailyn recently made headlines when she said that she’s leaving the show. In her book, Lowry revealed that the show was coming to an end. She wrote it in a way that made it very certain, even though Kailyn Lowry is filming a season at the moment. Maybe she’s been told that this is indeed the last season, or maybe she’s just guessing that the show will come to an end eventually, as the ladies are no longer teenage mothers.

“Now, especially with the show coming to an end, it’s time for my accomplishments to stand out. I want to show everyone that even though I grew up like white trash and got knocked up at seventeen, I can get a Bachelor’s degree and raise children who blow people away with their manners, wit and intelligence,” Kailyn Lowry wrote in her book, sharing that Teen Mom 2 will be coming to an end sooner rather than later.

Of course, the show isn’t completely over, as they are filming right now. Both Kailyn and Leah Messer have shared photos of the production team, where they capture the camera crew in their social media photos. But when Radar Online reached out to an insider, the insider revealed that MTV hadn’t made a decision about the show, and the cast has yet to be told that this current season will be the last.

It is possible that Kailyn doesn’t want to share her life anymore on television, as she faced plenty of criticism from the public over her divorce from Marroquin. When Javi left to serve his country overseas, Lowry announced that her marriage was over. Even though fans saw their marriage crumble on the show, there are many things that viewers know nothing about. And they are both writing books to share their sides of the story.

“When he did things like demanding that I unlock my phone to prove I had nothing to hide, or calling me constantly when I was enjoying time with friends to make sure I wasn’t doing anything ‘sneaky’ behind his back, it became clearer and clearer how little my husband trusted me,” Kailyn Lowry reveals in her book about her now failed marriage, adding, “I had done nothing to make him doubt me. I never lied, never went behind his back and I was never unfaithful. For some reason, he was convinced otherwise.”
