Flavor Flav has collected a few mugshots over the course of his life, and, last night, the 53-year-old rapper/reality star added another to his collection.
Flavor Flav was arrested early this morning in Las Vegas. The Inquisitr reported earlier that Flav was charged for assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor of domestic violence. He is currently being held on $23,000 bond.
According to Starcasm , Flavor Flav has several arrests on his records. The rapper, who was part of the influential group Public Enemy, was arrested in 1991 for beating up his girlfriend Karen Ross. He has another domestic violence arrest on his record as well as several drug charges. Flav said last year that he spent more than $2500 a day on drugs during the period of his life when he was addicted to crack cocaine.
The details about his arrest last night aren’t clear, but TMZ reports that the incident involved his fiance Liz Trujillo and her teenage son Gibrian. Flav, real name William Drayton, Jr., allegedly hit Liz during a heated argument. When Gibrian intervened, the rapper allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened the teenager.
