WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar Vs. Goldberg Spoilers Revealed by ‘Survivor Series’ Betting Odds?

The latest WWE rumors examine the potential spoilers for the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg match at Survivor Series 2016. The two wrestling legends are set to grapple with one another in the ring in their sequel match at the annual pay-per-view, in what is expected to be the main event. Most fans are wavering back and forth as to which competitor is going to end up the winner of their bout. However, recent Survivor Series 2016 betting odds for the favorite and underdog have given way to predictions and possible spoilers for the end results.

The build up to this huge match has continued to take place across WWE programming and social media. According to PW Torch, Goldberg was featured on WWE’s Raw television show this past Monday for the Halloween edition of the program. The former WCW and WWE champion had an interesting in-ring encounter involving Paul Heyman and Rusev. After getting interrupted by Heyman and then Rusev, Goldberg ended up hitting his jackhammer move on Rusev and then laying out Heyman with a huge spear. That seems to really set the stage for both Goldberg and Lesnar to get in one another’s faces on an upcoming episode of Raw as they continue to promote their Survivor Series clash.

As mentioned, this will be a huge match at the November pay-per-view, which will feature Goldberg making his return to the wrestling ring in historic fashion. It will mark the second match between those two in their storied careers. Goldberg got the victory over Lesnar via pinfall with another legend, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, serving as their guest referee.

Following the win, Austin proceeded to hit his “Stone Cold Stunner” finisher on both men. Now, years later, Brock Lesnar tries to make up for that “blemish” on his wrestling record by achieving a win against Goldberg. His advocate, Paul Heyman, issued an official challenge to Goldberg on Raw weeks ago, after months of teases from the WWE.

After Lesnar’s initial challenge was announced by Heyman, Goldberg showed up on an October episode of WWE’s Monday Night Raw program to announce his return and intentions of taking on “The Beast” in the rematch. It had been 12 years since his return to WWE and the fans seemed ecstatic for the arrival of the former champion. He not only told everyone he was back, and ready to put on a fight for his wife and son to be proud of, but also that Lesnar was “next.” The historic promo segment finished with Goldberg also notifying Brock “You’re last.”

So will Goldberg make good on his promise to win again, or will Brock avenge the loss? A report via WWE Leaks indicates that early betting odds have already been released for this match via the Kambi betting interface. For those uninterested in potential match spoilers, it may be best to avoid reading on. However, for those who want to know the potential Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg winner, the early odds may give an indication.

It appears that Brock is the favorite to win this match, having received odds of 1 to 5 to win. Goldberg will be a 3 to 1 underdog, meaning a $100 bet on him, should he win, would result in a payout of approximately $300. To win money on Brock Lesnar, a bettor would have to wager $500 just to win $100, should “The Beast” win the WWE Survivor Series matchup.

The speculation at least from the WWE Leaks website so far is that there won’t be any decisive winner in this second battle between the two competitors. In fact, the author is predicting that Shane McMahon will end up interfering to cost Lesnar his win, after what Lesnar did to him at SummerSlam this past year. That would end up setting up a future matchup for WrestleMania 33 between Shane McMahon and Brock Lesnar. Will that be the case, though?

Keep in mind that if Lesnar wins, it puts him and Goldberg at a 1-1 tie in their matches against one another. One would think that they would need a third match to give someone the 2-1 advantage. Is it possible that Lesnar wins at Survivor Series and these two complete the trilogy down the road at Mania, or will Lesnar be facing someone entirely different, such as Shane McMahon?
