Brad Pitt Moves Out Of Family Home As Angelina Jolie Remains In Malibu With Their Kids?
Is Brad Pitt moving amid his messy divorce from wife Angelina Jolie?
According to a new report, Brad Pitt might be ready to relocate to one of his former homes, or purchase a new place after splitting from Jolie, who took their kids with her to a rental home in Malibu, California last month after filing for divorce.
“[Brad Pitt] is considering a major change as he has been feeling the effects of the loss of [Angelina Jolie] and his kids as he sits in the big empty mansion his family used to call home,” a source told Hollywood Life on November 1. “Brad is leaning towards finally letting go and selling the huge Hollywood Hills house he owned before he had kids and starting over somewhere new.”
Brad Pitt and his family had been staying in their Hollywood Hills home over the summer and were seen spending time together in Los Angeles on many occasions. Then, in September, just one month after celebrating their 2-year wedding anniversary, Jolie filed for divorce and quickly relocated to Malibu.

“The once cozy estate now feels too big for [Brad Pitt] to live in alone,” the insider continued. “Every minute he is there alone he is overwhelmed with memories of Angie and all the kids.”
In addition to filing for divorce in September, Brad Pitt’s wife also requested full physical custody of their six children; Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8. According to a TMZ report at the time, Jolie felt Brad Pitt might be dangerous for their children due to his alleged use of alcohol and marijuana and his rumored anger issues. Although Jolie did reveal that she was open to joint legal custody, she requested a judge grant her full physical custody, which would allow the children to live with her full-time while Pitt would only be allowed visitation.
While Jolie currently has full physical custody of their children, their custody situation could eventually change. In the meantime, Brad Pitt is making sure he has a good space for the family if they are able to spend unsupervised time with him in the future.
“It is a challenging time for [Brad Pitt] and he thinks it might be a good idea to downsize to a new bachelor pad, of course with plenty of room for his kids,” the source said. “He is ready to move on to a new place where he can make new memories.”
Following Jolie’s divorce filing, rumors began swirling in regard to the possibility of child abuse and an investigation against Brad Pitt was launched.

Although Brad Pitt’s case was expected to wrap up in October, it was reported at the end of the month that a “key” new accusation had been made.
“The investigation was not closed on schedule for a reason,” a source explained to In Touch Weekly magazine. “The DCFS investigation is now going to continue for at least several more weeks.”
According to the outlet, a new revelation has been made which claims Brad Pitt was harmful to some of his children by verbally abusing them on multiple occasions.
“Now DCFS is interviewing many people to determine if they are witnesses to any improper behavior by [Brad Pitt] as well as searching for others who have knowledge of his actions. That includes nannies, household staff members and more,” another insider told the magazine. “The fact that the investigation was extended is an indication of how serious this is.”
