‘Toy Story 4’ And ‘Incredibles 2’ Release Dates Confirmed, Disney Pixar Tweets Exact Dates

Have you been looking forward to the likes of Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2? Well, Disney Pixar has finally confirmed the release dates of both movies. There has been a slight change of plan for the two movie releases, but they will be here before you know it.

Last year, the Inquisitr announced that the release of Toy Story 4 had been postponed a year until June 2018. Fans were initially disappointed but still excited that there was definitely going to be a fourth installment of the franchise. At the same time, fans learned that the sequel to the superhero animation movie Incredibles was going to be released in June 2019.

There has been another change of plan. The movies have switched their release years with Incredibles 2 coming out in 2018, and Toy Story 4 coming out in June 2019. The good news is that there are now confirmed dates from Disney Pixar. Yes, there are even days included in this announcement!

You’ll have to wait until June 15, 2018, for the Incredibles sequel, which will focus more on the characters rather than their powers. The fourth Toy Story movie will be released on June 21, 2019.

This news is going to be disappointing for Toy Story fans. This is one of the most successful franchises in the world, especially when it comes to animation. The first movie was released back in 1995 as the first fully CGI movie. It was more of an experiment than anything else, and the film has turned into a franchise that still sells products to this day. There are parents who were kids when the first movie was released, and they are now watching it with their own children.

The delay shouldn’t really be that surprising. It does take the time to piece together CGI movies. It took four years for the sequel to Toy Story to be released and then another 11 years for the third installment.

To the fans’ surprise and relief, the third movie was set 11 years in the Toy Story world’s future. Little Andy had grown up, and it was all about what would happen to his toys now that he was off to college. Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the gang ended up in the hands of school-aged Bonnie, and it is likely that the fourth installment will involve some of her old toys.

There have been short movies released in between. Halloween and Christmas-centric movies have been used. There’s no news of any more shorts being released despite the delay in the release of the fourth installment.

One of the greatest things about the Toy Story franchise is that the voices of the characters haven’t changed. Woody’s Tom Hanks and Buzz’s Tim Allen will both reprise their roles for Toy Story 4.

There are mixed comments from fans with the announcement of the new movies. Some fans want to see more original movies, while others just want the Toy Story train to stop. Other film fans are disappointed but excited for the release of the fourth installment and for the second installment of the superhero animation.

For those who want more original movies, your prayers have been answered. Disney Pixar has announced that Toy Story 4 will be the last sequel to be made. As of 2020, only new movies will be made by Disney Pixar, according to IGN.

There are still original movies planned. The Good Dinosaur was released last year, and there are plans for another original movie in 2017 called Coco.

It turns out that the production for Incredibles 2 just happens to be ahead of schedule. That is the reason for Disney Pixar to push the release date forward and switch it with Toy Story 4.

The release of Cars 3 is still going to be June 16, 2017.
