Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016: Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, Jasmine Tookes Gunning To Be Top Angel

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show finally has a date and location. Fans have been waiting impatiently for the news of the brand’s annual runway show. It’s no doubt one of the hottest shows to be in since it included the likes of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid last year. Just about every young model wants to become a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

It’s been reported that Bella Hadid is one of those models gunning for a spot in the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The model was spotted smiling widely as she was leaving Victoria’s Secret headquarters in New York City, according to People Style. Hadid went in for the model call back to find out if she will be one of the Angels walking the runways in Paris. Hadid wore a black bra underneath a black velour bomber jacket and camouflage baggy pants with strappy stilettos.

The news didn’t stay quiet for long and neither did her clothes. Bella’s makeup artist Vincent Oquendo posted a photo of the singer in just a black bra and thong with her pants around her ankles. He included the caption, “Congrats my little baby bells on getting @victoriassecret! It’s been a beautiful ride so far and I can’t wait to see what’s next! #proud #blessed #worlddomination @diormakeup (SIC).”

But, it looks like Bella’s super sexy lingerie photo was for an upcoming photo shoot with Dior Makeup, which she is the brand ambassador of. Speaking of Dior, Bella was spotted wearing two Christian Dior dresses to different New York events for the fashion house, according to Vogue. Another clue that Bella is ready to snag her Victoria’s Secret gig is that she was seen taking a photo with Jen Waldman, who hinted to her fans that only one of them made the cut.

Another model who’s hoping to become a Victoria’s Secret Angel is Hailey Baldwin. Though she previously admitted that she’s not on the same level as her pals Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, she has taken interest in being in the next show. The 19-year-old has reportedly placed a plea to walk in the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, according to Cosmopolitan.

“I want to walk in the Victoria’s Secret show,” she told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview for her new shoe line with Public Desire. “It’s every girls dream.”

Not only is Hailey BFFs with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, but she’s also friends with Joan Smalls, who’s a veteran Victoria’s Secret Angel.

And, like Kendall and Gigi, Hailey already has a huge social media following. She has snagged her share of modeling gigs, along with an ad campaign for Guess. Hailey has made herself well-known in Hollywood by dating Drake and Justin Bieber. She also rubbed elbows with some of the Victoria’s Secret models at the Met Gala back in May. So, it wouldn’t be entirely surprising if Hailey makes her Victoria’s Secret modeling dreams come true.

One woman who’s secured a spot in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is model Jasmine Tookes. She is going to be the one who wears the $3 million Fantasy Bra. E! News spoke to Tookes at the store’s location on 5th Avenue. Tookes says she still can’t believe that she will be walking down the runway in the Fantasy Bra this year.

“I’m so excited. I still pinch myself every day and today is finally the day I can share with everybody,” she said. “I’ve been holding this secret for about five months now.”

The beauty also admitted that she just found out about the exciting news. Tookes was announced a day after Victoria’s Secret finally made the announcement about their annual Fashion Show on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

“I just found out of nowhere,” she admitted. “I thought I was doing an interview for bralettes.”

The Bright Night Fantasy Bra is designed by Eddie Borgo and features jewels by AWMouzannar. It’s embellished with 9,000 gemstones and diamonds and emeralds in 18-karat gold. It weighs more than 450 carats and took over 700 hours to create. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be televised on Dec. 5.
