‘This Is Us’ Season 1 Episode 5 Answers The Biggest Question Of The Series So Far: Where Is Jack? [Spoilers]

This is Us fans should prepare themselves to be thrown yet another curve ball as we try to figure out what went wrong between Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia). In the first four episodes, we have traveled through the past and present day of Rebecca, Jack, Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz), and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) but the viewers are still wondering what happened to break apart this adorable little family. Apparently, it becomes much more clear in Episode 5, and we learn why Jack is no long in the picture and his exact whereabouts.

The episode titled Game Plan will travel back to the 1970s before Jack and Rebecca became parents. The adorable couple will disagree about starting a family and wonder if they are on the same page. In the promo, Rebecca rips into Jack about his need to start a family. She tells him that she said from the beginning that she never wanted to be a mother. This Is Us spoilers teased that Rebecca’s love for Jack changed her mind about children. Is it enough to keep the family together?

This Is Us spoilers tease that NBC will give the fans a glimpse of how Rebecca conceived the triplets in the 1970s. Apparently, during the babies conception, Miguel was present which brings up more questions than answers.

IB Times reports that Episode 5 will focus more on Kevin and his fear of being alone. He tries to reconnect with his brother, Randall and they work on events that led to their falling out. Kevin accidently lets it slip out that his adopted brother’s biological father, William (Ron Cephas Jones) is sick which brings an intense moment of panic for Randall’s daughters. Is it possible that William’s days on This Is Us are numbered?

According to the NBC promo, Jack had a love for the football team Pittsburgh Steelers. This Is Us will explain why the team meant so much to the family, and how it related to the break-up of his marriage to Rebecca.

This Is Us spoilers reveal that the episode will also show what happened to Jack and address his whereabouts. In Episode 5 promo, Toby (Chris Sullivan) tells Kate that he would like to meet her dad and she agreed that she would like that as well. It seemed to imply that Jack is alive —-a complete shock to the dedicated fans.

Up until this point, This Is Us fans believed that Jack is likely dead and that is what led to Rebecca’s relationship with his best friend, Miguel (Jon Huertas). It looks like that may not be the case, and Jack could be alive.

Ever since the show began, This Is Us fans have fallen in love with the character of Jack. He proved to be a devoted father and a dedicated husband. It looks like the viewers may get to see another side of him as we learn what happened to break apart Rebecca and Jack during Episode 5.

This Is Us spoilers suggests that Toby uncovers that Kate is keeping another secret from him which becomes a big problem for him. He confronts her about the secret, and it reveals critical information about her parents’ relationship. Apparently, the family secret will change Toby and Kate’s relationship forever.
