Katie Holmes Dumped By Jamie Foxx For Wanting To Go Public With Their Relationship?
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s relationship may be over.
After what has been reported as over three years of dating, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have allegedly ended their relationship due to Foxx’s desire to keep their rumored romance between them.
“Jamie is tired of being pressured by [Katie Holmes] into going public,” a source told Radar Online on October 23. “He’s asked for a few months out and made no promise he’ll be available after that.”
According to the report, Katie Holmes’ alleged boyfriend has no interest in taking their romance on the road and prefers a more discreet courtship, which could be why the alleged couple has stayed private for so long. As fans may recall, there have been photos and videos shared of the rumored pair together, but despite the mounting evidence of their relationship, they have stayed completely quiet in regard to what is going on between them.

Just this summer, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were caught together in Toronto, where Holmes was busy filming The Kennedys: After Camelot. As a report by Lainey Gossip revealed at the time, Holmes and Foxx attempted to go unnoticed as they enjoyed a meal together at a local restaurant. However, after people began to take notice of who they were, Katie Holmes had her assistant lead her out the back door. Meanwhile, the outlet noted, Foxx had absolutely no reason to be in Toronto aside from his ties to Katie Holmes.
One month later, as another Radar Online report revealed, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were in attendance during a Barbara Streisand concert in New York City, where Foxx took the stage with the music icon. According to the report, Katie Holmes cheered her man on before joining him in his dressing room backstage.
As for why Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were so open with their relationship at the event, the source claimed there was high security and they didn’t feel that anyone would be able to photograph them together. However, just weeks later, it seems Foxx has had a change of heart.
The romance with Katie Holmes was appealing for Jamie Foxx when it was “super-discreet,” but he “hated the scrutiny” once the public discovered news of their relationship, the first Radar Online source explained.
“It’s heartbreaking for [Katie Holmes], who would marry him in a heartbeat if he were keen,” the insider revealed. “She’s hoping he’ll change his mind and come running back, which to be fair he’s done numerous times before.”
Although the source claimed there was still hope for Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, there may not be as the actor was reportedly caught on camera earlier this month as he allegedly enjoyed a meal with a mystery blonde.

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s alleged relationship began years after the actress’ divorce from Tom Cruise, who starred alongside Foxx in 2004’s Collateral. Since their divorce, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have been completely estranged and although Cruise fathered Holmes’ daughter, 10-year-old Suri Cruise, he doesn’t appear to be involved in her life at all.
Despite Radar Online‘s report regarding Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s potential split due to his desire to stay out of the public eye, a report by Gossip Cop has insisted that the couple has not split because they simply weren’t in a romantic relationship to begin with.
