Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth began dating in 2010, but their romance hasn’t been without incident.
Following Miley Cyrus’ 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance, during which the singer twerked on Robin Thicke while wearing a nude jumpsuit, she and Hemsworth called off their engagement and went their separate ways.
Although Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth dated other people during this time, they ultimately chose to rekindle their romance and earlier this year, Cyrus went public with her engagement ring back on. Ever since, fans have been waiting to see when the couple will finally walk down the aisle.
Throughout the past several months, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been seen together frequently in Malibu, California, where they both own homes. However, when it comes to a wedding date, the ongoing rumors haven’t amounted to anything, and new rumors claim the couple may actually have called off their plans to get married.

On October 24, the Parent Herald claimed Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were on the verge of ending their relationship after Hemsworth deemed the singer to be “too much” to handle. After years of on and off, the outlet claimed Miley Cyrus had planned to get married in an intimate, traditional wedding that would only be attended by their close friends and family members. Then, as fans awaited their big day, the couple reportedly began to experience tension due to Cyrus’ current lifestyle.
According to the report, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may be headed towards splitsville due to their endless fights.
“He can’t keep up with [Miley Cyrus], and she’s been finding life with him to be a snoozefest,” a source told Life & Style earlier this month.
Miley Cyrus is currently in the midst of her debut season on The Voice, but it isn’t her busy career that has reportedly led to issues in her relationship. Instead, the magazine’s source revealed, Cyrus and Hemsworth have been clashing over the 23-year-old’s alleged pot smoking. In fact, things have gotten so bad between them that a recent fight left Miley Cyrus in tears.
“[Miley Cyrus] was screaming at him, telling him he was holding her back and making her hide who she truly is,” a friend told the magazine. “They are still both so upset and angry.”

While several recent reports have claimed Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth could be preparing for a split, a couple of other outlets have suggested the couple is doing just fine.
“Miley [Cyrus] is not rushing marriage because she loves what she and Liam [Hemsworth] have right now,” the source told Hollywood Life earlier this month. “She is very comfortable with him. They had their issues and now have squared them all away. They have a really healthy relationship.”
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s romance began on the set of 2010’s The Last Song, in which the pair played a couple of young adults who fell in love, and continued to an engagement in 2012.
As for reports of a wild lifestyle, that may not be the case.
“[Miley Cyrus] really loves nesting with Liam. She’s loving just being at home with him,” an insider told E! News. “She cooks a lot” for Hemsworth and “loves trying out new recipes all the time.”
