‘Nasty Woman’ Hillary Clinton Beats Donald Trump In Election Polls: So Will President Hillary Clinton Also Have Democratic Control In House And Senate After 2016 Election?

With “nasty woman” Hillary Clinton beating Donald Trump so completely in the election polls, what are the chances that President Hillary Clinton will enjoy Democratic control in both the House and Senate after the 2016 election? The odds look pretty good actually.

A few months ago, the best the Democratic Party could hope for with a Hillary Clinton victory was a possibility of maybe getting the Senate back. But Trump’s recent scandals involving women and the “nasty” tone he’s taken have completely destroyed him in almost all of the latest election polls.

For instance, a recent election poll carried out by ABC News currently has Hillary Clinton with a massive double-digit 12 point lead over Donald Trump. Among likely voters, Clinton stands at 52 points, while Trump has dropped to 38.

Worse for the Trump campaign – with the debates over and only days left before the election – it’s likely he’ll continue trending downward. Is it possible to get negative vote numbers on Election Day? Donald Trump might just find out. Things are looking nasty indeed for the scandal-ridden Republican nominee.

But most of the damage done to the Trump campaign was inflicted by Donald Trump himself, as the election polls results make clear. Trump has alienated the average woman in almost every way possible, and the above ABC news poll shows 69 percent of voters – men and women – disapprove of his comments regarding women.

Voters also object to Donald Trump’s “rigged election” claims and insinuations – in which he has suggested that he will not accept the election results if he’s not the winner. This is virtually unprecedented in American politics and not very popular with likely voters, 65 percent of whom disapprove of his position.

About The Term “Nasty Woman”

It doesn’t take an expert in semantics to realize that when Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton a “nasty woman,” it was really a substitute for the word b***h – which presumably even Donald Trump hesitated to say live on national television.

The misogynistic nature of Donald Trump’s designation of Hillary Clinton as a “nasty woman” is obvious from the fact that it is a woman who is almost always called nasty. Who calls men nasty? The implication is clear.

By using the language he has about women – including Hillary Clinton – Donald Trump has perfectly represented in the media the Republican “war on women” that Democrats have been talking about for years now. And it terrifies Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.

A Nasty Defeat For Republicans

Coattail effects in a presidential election are actually fairly uncommon. Most elections are so razor thin these days – because of the polarized nature of the voters – that coattail effects just don’t happen.

But as reported by CBS News, current polls make it clear that Hillary Clinton may just be on track to tip the House of Representatives away from Republican control. A victory of 2-4 points might sweep Democrats into control in the Senate, but it wouldn’t have that effect in the House.

But if – as seems quite possible now – the “nasty woman” facing Donald Trump does actually defeat him by 10, 11 or even 12 points in the national polls, no amount of distancing themselves from their own presidential nominee and denouncing his statements will be able to save down ticket Republican congressional candidates.

A 12-point victory by “nasty woman” Hillary Clinton on November 8 would represent the most resounding defeat and rejection of the Republican Party in decades – perhaps ever. Such a Hillary Clinton landslide win would not only provide us with our first woman president, it would put Clinton in a position to actually implement policies in a way Obama hasn’t been able to do in the last six years.
