Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Have Matching Tattoos


Miley Cyrus was spotted back in July with a tattoo of a Theodore Roosevelt quote on her arm and now it looks like Liam Hemsworth has painted his body with some matching ink.

Cyrus’s tattoo reads: “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Hemsworth’s tattoo completes the phrase. His tattoo reads: “If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly.”

According to the Global Grind, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus’ matching tattoos come from a speech that Teddy Roosevelt gave in 1910. Both lines come from the following passage:

“The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes up short again and again, because there is no effort without error or shortcoming, but who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself for a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.”
