LuAnn De Lesseps Reveals What Happened Between Dorinda Medley And Sonja Morgan At Her Bridal Shower

Viewers can likely expect the relationship between Dorinda Medley and Sonja Morgan to remain rocky on the next season of The Real Housewives of New York City. During her interview with Taylor Strecker for her SiriusXM show, Wake Up! With Taylor, on Tuesday, LuAnn de Lesseps revealed what happened between Dorinda and Sonja at her recent bridal shower. Turns out, nothing actually happened between the two feuding housewives because they wouldn’t even talk or look at one another.

“They ran into each other at my bridal shower. They didn’t even look at each other. They didn’t talk to each other.”

As viewers saw last season, Sonja was mad at Dorinda for excluding her from the group’s stay in her Berkshires home. LuAnn, who is set to marry Tom D’Agostino over New Year’s, revealed during her interview that Sonja’s still mad about that.

“Dorinda and Sonja are duking it out. Sonja’s pissed off about certain things that happened last season on the show, that Dorinda didn’t have her back. She’s still mad about not being invited to the Berkshires. She’s holding a grudge. She feels like she was excluded, and she took it very personally. And Dorinda tried to explain to her, but Sonja just doesn’t want to hear it. Sonja’s like, ‘You excluded me, those are my friends, and you made me feel like an outsider.'”

LuAnn expressed hope that Dorinda and Sonja will eventually work things out, once Sonja does what she’s supposed to do to rebuild the relationship.

“I also want from Sonja’s end to be less on Dorinda’s tail. So I want both of them to come to some sort of agreement, but I feel like it’s too soon for the moment.”

LuAnn also addressed Sonja’s odd appearance at her bridal shower. Instead of showing up in a nice outfit and makeup, like the other women, Sonja showed up wearing a casual, zip-up sweater, with saran wrap on her feet and hardly any or no makeup on her face. Her hair didn’t seem to be styled either. LuAnn admitted that there were some inconsistencies with Sonja’s story about her appearance.

“It was the weirdest thing. It was at a Fifth Avenue apartment of a really good friend of mine, gorgeous, overlooking the park. She said that she forgot. Then she said she came from her rehearsal for her [Off-]Broadway gig.”

After what Sonja Morgan said about Dorinda Medley during her appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live on Monday night, things may now be even worse between the two women. Sonja confirmed that she did not talk to Dorinda, the only other Real Housewives of New York City housewife, at LuAnn de Lesseps’ party. When Andy asked Sonja why she didn’t talk to Dorinda, Sonja branded Dorinda a liar and “total fake.”

“Because she’s totally duplicitous, lied about everything and she’s a total fake, that’s why.”

During her appearance, Sonja also repeated her claim that Dorinda does drugs. During the reunion show, Sonja quipped that everyone knows that Dorinda does drugs, a claim that Dorinda swiftly denied. When Dorinda continued her denial, LuAnn interestingly reminded everyone that they agreed to not talk about the subject.

In response to a viewer who asked her if Dorinda’s mad at her for saying what she did, Sonja said once again that everyone knows that Dorinda does drugs so there’s not much harm.

“Oh I don’t think she liked that very much, but everyone knows, so I didn’t see what the harm was. Everyone knows.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, after the reunion show, co-star Bethenny Frankel later seemingly confirmed Sonja’s claim by tweeting that the drug use is common.

On Watch What Happens Live, in addition to repeating her claim that Dorinda uses drugs, Sonja pretty much confirmed the story that Dorinda recently attacked a man with her shoe. When a viewer asked Sonja about Dorinda’s alleged attack, Sonja said that it happened at the Regency and that Dorinda took her heels off and spiked a man in the head with it. Sonja implied that Dorinda was drunk when it happened.

How does Sonja know this? Sonja said that one of the men involved was a good friend of hers. Sonja even seemingly managed to poke fun at Dorinda’s relationship with John Mahdessian, who owns the high-end dry cleaner business Madame Paulette, in her criticism by quipping that everything comes out in the wash.

“I’ve always said everything comes out in the wash, doesn’t it? Once a hypocrite, always a hypocrite…Dorinda went from one drunken lunch to the next thing at The Regency in the middle of the day…You don’t go to The Regency to make out with people like Luann’s fiance or take your heels off and spike someone in the head. That’s not what you do at The Regency.”

The good friend Sonja mentioned may be none other than Harry Dubin, the ex-husband of former housewife Aviva Drescher who once dated Sonja and may have also been romantically involved with LuAnn. A week ago, Page Six reported that Dorinda attacked investment banker Sylvester Miniter IV with her high heel at the Regency Hotel. According to Page Six, Dorinda “started inexplicably screaming at Harry” when she spotted him at the bar. It was when Sylvester tried to intervene that he was attacked.

“Harry walked into a s**tshow. When Sylvester tried to be a peacemaker and told Dorinda she was being inappropriate, Dorinda, who had her shoes in her hand, tried to spike him in the head with a high heel.”

Dorinda Medley’s spokesperson denied that she attacked anyone.

“It was her late husband’s birthday. She’d been at his grave all day, and it was just too much for her. She took her shoes off because her feet hurt.”

As for her low-key appearance at LuAnn de Lesseps’ bridal shower, Sonja Morgan explained to Andy Cohen that she got the dates mixed up and so was in the middle of getting a manicure and pedicure when she got a call asking her where she was. Sonja said that she rushed to the party, with saran wrap on her feet.
