‘RHONJ’ Season 8: Which Longtime Housewife ‘Friend’ Might Be Joining The New Jersey Cast?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey just finished filming their reunion show for Season 7, but who is set to come back next season? Which longtime friend of the housewives is in talks with Bravo about joining the cast for Season 8?

Radar Online has reported that all of the ladies from Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are set to return to the reality series. That means Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, Dolores Catania, and Jacqueline Laurita have all signed on for Season 8.

A source said that Bravo is potentially still looking for some more housewives to join the crew.

“I think they’re looking for two more.”

Allegedly, a longtime friend of the ladies on the show, Kim DePaola, is in talks to receive a full-time contract this season.

Kim, better known on the series as Kim D, exposed Joe Giudice at her Posh Fashion Show for cheating on Teresa.

“They [producers and DePaola] are going to be in talks this month.”

Kim D has been a guest on The Real Housewives of New Jersey since Season 1 and has always been one to stir up the drama on camera.

Radar previously reported last year that DePaola was in talks to join the cast for Season 7, and although she did not receive a contract, Jacqueline Laurita brought her around on camera anyway.

It is rumored that “there are major shakeups at Bravo” behind the cameras.

“Some of the producers, they want to get rid of because they’re very political. They play favorites and that’s really messed up.”

The other cast members are apparently not too happy with Teresa Giudice being treated as though she is above the rest of the ladies.

“They call Teresa ‘The Queen.’ Who does that?”

There have also been talks that two of Teresa Giudice’s cousins, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri, may come back to join the cast of ladies.

I love this woman @kathywakile and her beautiful daughter @victoriawakile #goodpeople

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 premiere date has yet to be announced. Season 7 of the RHONJ premiered almost two years after Season 6 wrapped. Teresa Giudice served time in prison, and the season focused on following her as she mended the relationships in her life following her release. The Giudice family also prepared to send Joe off to prison to serve his sentence.

If Kim D gets cast for Season 8, fans can rest assure that there will be no lack of drama between the ladies. Kim D has been caught in the middle of some major Housewives drama in the past seasons.

More recently, Kim D accused RHONJ cast member Melissa Gorga of interfering with her business. Melissa Gorga’s story on Season 7 followed the housewife on her new business venture — opening up her own store called Envy.

Kim D also told In Touch that Melissa has had multiple nose jobs and that her relationship with Teresa is fake.

“She’s had four nose jobs but won’t even admit to one. And her relationship with Teresa [Giudice] is fake. They don’t bother with each other off-camera. Teresa can’t stomach the sight of her.”

The host of Watch What Happens Live and all of the Housewives franchise reunions, Andy Cohen, asked Melissa Gorga for her thoughts on Kim D’s comments, to which she used a rat analogy.

While it doesn’t sound like Kim D and Melissa Gorga will be shopping at each other’s boutique stores anytime soon, they may have to see more of each other than they would like if Kim D becomes a part of the RHONJ cast.
