After Robbery, Kim Kardashian Only Feels Safe In One Place, Source Reports

Kim Kardashian is still shaken after her Paris robbery, but there is one place where the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star still feels safe.

On Oct. 3, Kardashian was reportedly sleeping in a Paris apartment when two masked robbers stormed into her room, ripped her from bed, bound her, and threw her in the bathtub while holding her at gunpoint. In the end, those responsible for the heist made away with more than $10 million in jewelry, but left Kardashian physically unharmed.

When it comes to Kim K's mental condition though, things are still a bit of a struggle. At the time of the robbery, Kanye West feared she would be assaulted or killed, so it's understandable that the mother of two is still reeling from the entire incident.

Kim Kardashian has gone silent on Instagram and Twitter, and she's not granted any interviews in the week since her Paris robbery, but on Tuesday Kim's sister, Khloe Kardashian, spoke briefly about the robbery during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. While speaking with Ellen, Khloe confirmed that Kim Kardashian is "not doing that well" dealing with the fallout from the Paris Fashion Week incident.
"It's incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together, and we do appreciate all your guys' love and support and it will take time."
Given the nature of the traumatic incident, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Kim reportedly still only feels safe in one place: the Bel Air mansion that she shares with her husband, Kanye West. According to an unnamed source for Hollywood Life, Kim is unlikely to be seen outside of her mansion anytime soon.
"Kim will not be coming out of her Bel Air mansion anytime soon. Like her sister Khloe said on Ellen, she is not doing well and is very slowly recovering from her robbery."
The source went on to say that Kim has nothing on her schedule for the foreseeable future, and that she's recovering with the help of her family and plenty of security.
"Her schedule has been cleared of any commitments. With her family by her side, and tons of security, Kim's home is the only place she feels safe right now."
In the wake of the robbery Kim Kardashian is dealing with, some are questioning the competency of Kardashian's security team. After the Paris robbery, for example, one of Kim Kardashian's former bodyguards spoke up and called the robbery an "inside job."The former security guard, named Richard Davis, said that if Kim was left alone, it means that someone broke Kanye West's No. 1 rule — and whoever left Kardashian unattended would have had to have had a really good reason to do so.

"I have heard Kanye say many times no one is to ever leave Kim alone. Kanye has emphatically insisted no one is to ever leave her alone unguarded," the Inquisitr reported, via Hollywood Life. "There is always to be someone at the door 24/7, no excuses. Kanye is obsessed with someone always at Kim's door. If one of Kim's family members wants her bodyguard, they are never to take them until there is another guard to take his place."

What do you think of the report that after the Paris robbery, Kim Kardashian only feels safe in her Bel Air mansion, surrounded by security guards? Do you believe her compound is a secure place?
