Presidential Debate Breakout Star: Ken Bone Outshines Donald Trump And Hillary Clinton On Social Media — Who Is This Man?

While the second presidential debate last night ended up with Donald Trump calling for the imprisonment of Hillary Clinton, social media seemed to find one glimmer of light to cling to: Kenneth Bone. During the debate, Ken Bone quickly became a trending internet meme. People are tweeting about this man left and right but, but who is this man?

It was a tense night on Sunday evening during the second presidential debate, which began without the nominees shaking hands this time. Hillary simply gave Donald an awkward nod of the head.

Donald Trump ended up threatening to bring a special prosecutor to look into her use of a private email server as secretary of state and saying she should be in jail.

“I hate to say this, but if I win, I’m going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation, because there has never been so many lies, so much deception, there has never been anything like it, and we’re going to have a special prosecutor.”

Twitter went crazy over a short, affable-looking man with glasses and a red sweater who asked a question to both of the candidates about energy policy.

“What steps will your energy policy take to meet our energy needs while at the same time remaining environmentally friendly and minimising job loss for fossil power plant workers?”

For whatever reason, Ken Bone really struck a chord with the audience, and people immediately began tweeting about him. In moments, Ken Bone somehow became the winner of the second presidential debate in the eyes of Twitter.

People immediately began comparing Mr. Bone to cartoon characters like Big Al from Toy Story and a character from Wreck-It Ralph.

Twitter users even joked about wanting to vote for Ken Bone for president.

Who is he? Who is this man with the wide mustache who asked the most startlingly sane question to Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump?

Certainly, no one could have expected that this kind-looking man in a cozy-looking sweater would create such a buzz online.

According to CNN, by the end of the second presidential debate, Ken Bone was the winner.

According to the Independent, he was the debate’s true hero. Even former President Bill Clinton, who was there to support his wife and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, was a fan of Mr. Kenneth Bone.

The comments people made on Twitter were only positive about Ken Bone. The same cannot be said for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump after last night’s presidential debate.

A Ken Bone Twitter fan account has already been made.

“Kenneth Bone, fashion icon, and disposable camera user”

When Donald Trump’s wife, Melanie, wore a hot pink Gucci blouse, the people of Twitter had a lot to say, and people tracked down where the sweater was from, according to Mic.

Today, people are tracking down where to get Ken Bone’s sweater. Turns out, it is an IZOD Men’s Cable Solid 1/4 Zip Sweater, and it is available in 11 colors.

On Amazon, it goes for $42.99. At Macy’s the style is $80. At JCPenney, it’s more like $70. And at Kohl’s it’s on sale for $48.99.

GQ has even tweeted out a Ken Bone Halloween costume kit.
