‘Days Of Our Lives’: Hope Agrees To Aiden’s Demands — Rafe Heartbroken Over Hope’s Decision [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans are not liking the new Aiden Jennings. Desperate to get Hope Brady back, the district attorney is doing everything in his power to make it happen. Even if he has to force Hope’s hand. Spoilers reveal that Aiden will use the recording of Hope confessing to Stefano DiMera’s murder to his advantage.

As previously speculated by the Inquisitr, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) could offer Kristian Alfonso’s character, Hope Brady, a twisted deal. The theory was a little different than what is actually going to happen, though.

According to spoilers from the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Hope and Aiden meet in a hotel room. The former Days Of Our Lives couple talk and Aiden gives her an ultimatum. Due to him having Hope confessing to Stefano’s murder on tape, she feels trapped and doesn’t have a choice. Hope and Rafe (Galen Gering) fans are going to be crushed to find out Aiden demands that the couple split up.

Obviously, Hope’s decision is not just to protect herself, but to spare Rafe Hernadez as well. After Hope shot Stefano, he helped dispose of the body. Then, he tried to throw Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) off track. When that didn’t work, Rafe decided to frame Andre for Stefano’s murder.

Spoilers from the magazine also stated that Hope will abruptly break up with Rafe, which stuns him. He is crushed and heartbroken. However, the Days Of Our Lives character is also suspicious. He knows something is up and that Hope is hiding the real reason for the split. He suspects Aiden has something on Hope and is forcing her to end things with Rafe.

As fans saw on the soap opera last week, Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) press conference was videotaped. Footage shows Aiden whispering something in Hope’s ear. Rafe brought it up and asked about the fearful expression on her face. However, she claimed not to remember what he told her.

Rafe Hernandez is not going to take this lying down on Days Of Our Lives. Galen Gering told the publication what happens when Rafe and Aiden meet about Hope’s decision. Apparently, Aiden enjoys taunting and ridiculing Rafe. Sounds like Aiden Jennings is turning into DiMera 2.0; he is not the same man and is just getting worse.

“It’s brutal for Rafe. He feels powerless, like he let Hope down. Aiden holds all the cards. But Rafe isn’t going to give up. He’s going to try and find a solution. Unfortunately, at the moment, it seems like there isn’t one. Things look pretty bleak.”

What Days Of Our Lives fans need to remember is that Aiden, Hope, and Rafe live in Salem. It is a town where miracles happen and impossible situations work out. Glamour magazine printed an interview with executive producer Ken Corday. He teased that more romance and positive storylines are coming. He also shared spoilers that Hope and Rafe fans will enjoy.

“The fans are clamoring for Rafe and Hope to be together, and we know that, but we don’t want to get there instantly. Aiden’s reappearance was a big hiccup in that, but we’ll get there.”

The new co-head writing team of Dena Higley and Ryan Quan also made similar statements in a previous issue of Soap Opera Digest. Even though things seem a bit dark now, storylines are going to get more positive. Salem will be a town where “love conquers all.”
