‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Spoilers: Evil Will? Eleven Returning? Stars Noah Schnapp And Millie Bobby Brown Spill

Warning: This article contains potential Stranger Things Season 2 spoilers.

Now that Stranger Things Season 2 has been officially ordered by Netflix, speculation is running wild online. Not only are fans of the 80s-era show trying to figure out what’s next for Will Byers, Eleven and their friends, but the actors themselves are getting in on the guessing game.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, 12-year-old Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) talks about what could be next for his character. Fans of the hit summer series remember that Season 1 ended with Will being rescued from the Demogorgon monster in the Upside Down and returning to the safety of his family. However, in an unsettling final scene, Will was shown spitting up little monsters. Schnapp thinks that could mean Will is not going to be himself in Season 2.

“I don’t know. But my guess is that maybe he’s going to become evil in the next season. If he’s coughing up these baby Demogorgons, or eggs, or something, maybe he’s incubating or holding these eggs inside of him, and he’s trying to fight his good side against his bad side in the next season. That would be cool to see, to see him become evil.”

If Will does turn evil in Stranger Things Season 2, Schnapp says he thinks it will be fun to portray.

“I mean, there are so many ways Will can go in the next season with how they set it up,” he says. “But honestly, any way would be pretty cool. But it would be pretty cool to play an evil Will.”

One thing that was not cool with Schnapp was Will’s decision not to tell his mom, Joyce (Winona Ryder), that he was throwing up monster goop after his return from the Upside Down.

“When I was filming the scene, I was so angry. I wanted Will to tell Joyce so badly. I wanted to see what she would say after. But he hid it from her. So I had to play it like I’m keeping it to myself, where I’m trying to hold it in, when I’m very scared, and I don’t know what’s going on.”

Schnapp also said he and co-star Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) got along great in real life, even though they didn’t share screen time together.

“We’re really close. We’ve hung out a bunch and had a ton of sleepovers together. Even though I wasn’t there the whole time like the other kids, it’s surprising that we’re all really close.”

Speaking of Brown, the Mirror reports the 12-year-old actress recently appeared on British TV show Lorraine to talk about her sudden rise to fame.

“It’s been very overwhelming and very incredible,” she gushes. “I’ve met so many people, but I couldn’t have done it without my family packing up and risking a lot.”

She also revealed that her family helps to keep her grounded.

“My brother still says I’m not a celebrity in the house,” Brown says. “It’s really nice to have them keep me humble.”

But is Eleven returning for Stranger Things Season 2?

“I’m not sure I’m going to be in it. You know, either way it’s going to be fantastic. We have a great cast and great writers and directors.”

Even if she doesn’t return, Brown says she’s “very happy for the writers and directors and the other cast.”

Don’t worry, Stranger Things fans. While Brown’s skill at protecting spoilers is impressive, there is no way Eleven is not returning from the Upside Down. Expect to see the breakout star joining the rest of the cast when the show returns next year.
