Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke Hernandez suffered a scary run-in with a fan in Mexico.

According to E! News, the Fifth Harmony star found herself on the receiving end of a little too much enthusiasm while arriving at a Mexican airport on September 28 after she was almost dragged to the ground by an overzealous fan looking for a selfie.

The scary moment Hernandez was ambushed ahead of Fifth Harmony’s September 29 “7/27 Tour” stop in Monterrey, Mexico, was captured by passers by and later uploaded to social media by Fifth Harmony update account @ShadyFacts5H.

The fan captured footage shows Ally Brooke making her way through the Mexican airport with her team of security before being approached by a fan who seemingly wanted to take a selfie with the Fifth Harmony star.

The Fifth Harmony fan was then quickly apprehended by Hernandez’s security team for getting a little too close to the singer, though the male then appeared to pull Ally by the arm as he was being dragged away, almost forcing Hernandez to the ground.

Fifth Harmony’s dedicated followers flocked to social media to discuss the scary airport incident, sending their love to Ally Brooke following the attack by the overzealous fan.

“The video of Ally literally getting dragged by fans it’s so sad/scary,” Fifth Harmony fan @intoyounormani tweeted out of the airport attack. “They desperately need better security. Ally didn’t deserve that.”

“Honestly though why is it so hard for people to respect the girls at the airport,” Twitter user @candyflossally added of the Fifth Harmony girls. “[I] hope Ally and Lauren [Jauregui] are okay I can’t believe some people.”
