Ever since Alejandro announced he was immune to the bite of the infected, fans have been questioning the validity of his statement. Will the Season 2 finale of Fear the Walking Dead reveal the truth?

Spoiler alert: This article discusses the Season 2 finale of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. Please proceed with caution if you wish to avoid spoilers.

Episode 9 of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead revealed that Alejandro (Paul Calderon) had been bitten by one of the infected and survived according to Luciana (Danay Garcia). However, later on, in Episode 11, Alejandro expanded on his story to Nick Clark (Frank Dillane). It is here that viewers learned the bite occurred when there was both infected and uninfected present, casting a shadow over Alejandro’s immunity story.

So, could the truth behind Alejandro’s alleged immunity finally be revealed in the Season 2 finale of Fear the Walking Dead? After all, Fear‘s showrunner, Dave Erickson, has revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Alejandro’s story will be addressed in Season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead.

“The truth of Alejandro and the question of faith is something we will play out over the course of the season, and we’ll address it ultimately,” he revealed to Entertainment Weekly.

As yet, it is unclear just how much AMC will focus on the community called Colonia where Alejandro and Nick reside in the Season 2 finale of Fear the Walking Dead. However, in the teaser video, it seems Nick is unsure whether he will stay there any longer.

In the teaser video, Nick is seen pleading with Luciana to come away with him. Alejandro is present in this conversation and, up until now, it has been made pretty clear that no one is allowed to leave Colonia. So why is this discussion even being had out in the open with Alejandro present? Could his secret have been revealed in Episode 14 of Fear the Walking Dead and now Alejandro holds less sway within his community?

However, also shown in the teaser video for Episode 14 is the arrival of what appears to be the group controlling El Pelicano. This group met up with escapees from Colonia in Episode 12 of Fear the Walking Dead, and it was likely them who were watching Nick from afar as well. So, perhaps Nick is just trying to escape what he knows is coming with the El Pelicano group likely to attack Colonia for drugs and this isn’t even about Alejandro’s immunity at all.

As yet, very few images have been released for either episodes of the Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 finale. However, the one AMC is promoting on their website for Episode 15, involves Alejandro being surrounded by his people. Luciana is in this group, Nick is not. Alejandro has his hand out, like he is trying to explain something, or to appease the crowd. Could Alejandro be trying to justify his lies to Colonia about his immunity? Only by tuning into the Season 2 finale of Fear the Walking Dead will reveal the truth about Alejandro’s immunity.
