ESPN NFL Week 3 Predictions, Picks, And Schedule: Steelers, Cardinals, Giants, And Cowboys Viewed As Consensus Winners

NFL predictions and picks for Week 3 from the experts at ESPN are now here, and there could be a few upsets this weekend. While it is still very early in the season, it is becoming apparent which teams have a legitimate shot of making the playoffs. In addition to the predictions by the experts at ESPN, the latest NFL odds from Vegas Insider were also used as reference points. Here are a few of the notable games.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles – WINNER: Steelers

In one of the most intriguing matchups this weekend, the 2-0 Steelers will travel to Philadelphia to take on the 2-0 Eagles. While the Steelers are viewed as one of the more likely teams to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, the Eagles are thought of as a team that is still a few years away from being legitimate contenders. Regardless, rookie quarterback Carson Wentz has rejuvenated the struggling franchise, and it should be an exciting game on Sunday. In the end, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Antonio Brown are going to be too much for the rebuilt Eagles defense to handle. Expect the Eagles to keep it close for most of the game, but the Steelers will pull away towards the end. All nine ESPN experts believe the Steelers will come out on top.

Arizona Cardinals at Buffalo Bills – WINNER: Cardinals

As one of the surprise teams in 2015, the Arizona Cardinals, once again, have Super Bowl aspirations. While they had a shocking loss at home Week 1 against the injury-ridden New England Patriots, they bounced back in Week 2 with an impressive victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Things may not come as easy this year for the Cardinals, but they should still finish the year as one of the top teams in the NFC. While the Bills were viewed as a possible contender this year, the Cardinals should defeat them rather handily on Sunday. All nine ESPN experts believe the Cardinals will come out on top.

Washington Redskins at New York Giants – WINNER: Giants

While the NFC East may be one of the worst divisions in the entire NFL, the divisional games always seem to be close. The Redskins, who won the NFC East last year, are off to an awful 0-2 start. The Giants, who finished in 3rd place last year in the NFC East, are off to an impressive 2-0 start. Neither team is going to be a contender in the NFC this season, but it appears as though the Giants are the better of the two. Giants quarterback Eli Manning if off to a hot start while Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has struggled. A majority eight of nine ESPN experts believe the Giants will come out on top.

Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys – WINNER: Cowboys

Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has had an impressive start to his rookie campaign, and he will lead the Cowboys as they take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. Even with Jay Cutler at quarterback, the Bears have looked like an atrocious football team this year. Without him in the lineup, the Bears offense is likely to be even more dismal. Expect Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott to finally get it going in a double-digit victory. All nine ESPN experts believe the Cowboys will come out on top.
