Ariel Winter Is All Grown Up: Shows Off Cleavage & Legs At Pre-Emmys Party
Ariel Winter is proving to everyone that she is all grown up. She has turned 18 this year and she graduated high school. The Modern Family actress showed a lot of skin on the red carpet, just ahead of the Emmy Awards.
The teenager has been showing off her body a lot lately, so it’s no surprise that she would do the same at a red carpet event. Winter made her appearance at Audi’s pre-Emmys party on Thursday, Sept. 15 in a black dress that featured a thigh-high slit. The skirt part of her dress also featured gold buttons and a large gold zipper. The dress also had a plunging neckline, which showed off Winter’s black lace bralette underneath along with her ample cleavage.
The starlet pulled her sexy red carpet look together with black strappy heels, a black choker, and her dark hair swept to one side and styled in loose waves, reported Hollywood Life. Winter also posed on the red carpet with her on-screen sibling, Nolan Gould, who also looks very grownup these days. Gould wore a gray suit with a floral print button-down shirt underneath.
As for their co-star Sarah Hyland, a source told E! News that Winter actually arrived late into the evening with two friends before running into Hyland. The two actresses spent some time chatting away on the patio couches before Hyland spoke with Gould near the restaurant kitchen.
It seems like Winter’s style has been Kim Kardashian-West. Long before Winter supported the reality star when she posted a nude selfie on Instagram back in March, Winter said she was also a fan of the famous Kardashian sister.
“I think [Kim’s] promoting body positivity. Young girls being able to express that they don’t have a stick-thin body, they’re curvy. And stick-thin bodies are amazing and those girls are amazing too. I think that everybody’s body should be celebrated, no matter what it is,” Winter said during an interview on the Kylie & Jackie show that same month.
Earlier this month, however, Winter called out her body shamers yet again, acclording to People. The teen has been a target of body shaming for the past year. Winter took to Instagram to share a post on Saturday, Sept. 10, telling critics that their words don’t bother her. She also hopes that her bullies will someday learn to love themselves.
“Every time someone bullies me online, it gives me a chance to re-emphasize to my fans, and even myself, how important self-acceptance is. Those who say such harsh things on my Instagram, thank you for this opportunity – but the question I ask myself each time I read the mean comments is if this is how you talk to a stranger online, I can only imagine how cruelly you speak to yourself. Stop the hate. Accept that you are and know your flaws are what make you the PERFECT you. I love my fans and I love my bullies for what they truly NEED is love. Take the high road, there is less traffic. XO.”
According to the report, Winter previously defended her decision to wear a curve-hugging, cleavage-baring dress to her high school graduation.
“Dear sorry body-shamers, I looked HOT in that dress,” she tweeted. “And if you hate it, don’t buy it. But please get a hobby. XOXO Ariel #EmbraceYourBody”
As for Winter’s future plans, she is deferring her college start date for a year, according to E! News. She has to make time for college with her busy acting schedule.
“Unfortunately this year, due to production schedule, I have to start next year,” she revealed at the Emmys Casting Nominees Reception. “So I will be starting as a [UCLA] Bruin next year.”
Ariel Winter still plans to major in political science when she enters college next year.
