‘Finding Prince Charming’ Suitors Speak On Robert Sepulveda, Jr.’s Escorting Past: ‘If I Wanted A Hooker, I’d Hire One!’

Despite attempts to drown out the conversation in regard to his seedy past, controversy surrounding the former profession of Finding Prince Charming lead Robert Sepulveda, Jr. continues to heat up.

Just one week after the LOGO romance competition premiered on television, two competitors from the all-gay likeness of ABC’s The Bachelor reached out anonymously to The Wrap to state that the network was most likely incredibly aware of Sepulveda’s former work as a male escort. The surprising news first popped up on the web through several adult entertainment sites that cater to gay men, before turning up in mainstream media, including People.

“We all had to go through rigorous background checks for three weeks,” one of the men explained, “and another three days before the show even started taping.”

“I don’t believe the network was blindsided,” added the second former competitor. “I don’t think anyone [actually] believes that.”

Interestingly, on day one of filming Finding Prince Charming, the first contestant claimed to have approached producers to say that he recognized Sepulveda from an adult video. They remained mum on his inquisition, but when he was able to retrieve his cell phone following his elimination, he was able to confirm the connection on his own.

“As soon as I left the house and got my phone back,” he expresses, “I Googled ‘Robert Sepulveda’ and the words ‘sex tape’ and there it was. [I] didn’t even need to scroll down.”

After confirming his work as an escort to Access Hollywood in late August, Robert also admitted the existence of one video that showed him performing a sex act (there are allegedly several others, so says the SFW site Naughty Gossip). According to him, it was a private visual that was meant for the eyes of a disgruntled lover who, in turn, posted them online for revenge.

“I’ve never done porn in my entire life,” he remarked to hostesses Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover. “There was a video that I sent to an ex-boyfriend and when I started to do more television work and more modelling work, it was posted online.”

Regardless of what he is or isn’t admitting to, Sepulveda’s past actions have led to unfortunate consequences for, at least, one of the hopeful suitors. Contestant Chad Aaron Spodick revealed via his Twitter just recently that due to his participation on the show and his connection to Robert, he was dismissed from his position as a real estate agent.

Furthermore, the two anonymous contestants say that had they known that Sepulveda had moonlighted as a sex worker, they would have never willingly signed up to find love on Finding Prince Charming.

“If I wanted to date a hooker, I’d hire one,” one of the competitors acknowledged. “I’m beyond livid.”

The other was just as bothered with being guarded from Robert’s life before filming, as well as the X-rated visuals of him that can be discovered with the click of a mouse.

“There are videos of Robert out there that are quite disgusting,” he stated. “Now, I’m associated with him. Try explaining that [one] to your mother.”

LOGO has refused to comment on the contestants’ grievances, choosing instead to relay the same message that they shared once news of Sepulveda’s escort life became public knowledge.

“We are aware of Robert’s past and fully support him as he moves forward in his search for love on ‘Finding Prince Charming.'”

As for the contestants, they say that they have their own way of getting the answers they deserve from Sepulveda.

“We still haven’t taped the reunion show,” one contestant hinted. “He’s going to get a piece of my mind, for sure.”

Finding Prince Charming airs Thursday nights on LOGO. Check your local listings for proper start times.
