Stanley Tucci And Felicity Blunt Hold Formal Wedding

Stanley Tucci has held a formal wedding with new wife Felicity Blunt after the couple exchanged vows in a more low-key ceremony in early August.

The second more formal wedding, which was always planned by the pair, was held in London and saw Tucci and Blunt tie the knot again in front of a far bigger audience. The bride’s sister, actress Emily Blunt (who co-starred with Tucci in the The Devil Wears Prada), was on bridesmaid duty while other celeb guests included Meryl Streep, Emily’s husband and The Office star John Krasinski, Patricia Clarkson, Julianne Moore, Colin Firth, and designer Kenneth Cole. Steve Buscemi was Tucci’s best man while Oliver Platt was a groomsman.

As well as being star-studded, the wedding was also quirky: People reports how the wedding cake was actually a stack of wheels of cheese.

Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt were engaged in November; it was Emily who introduced the actor to her sister, who works at a London literary agency.

Tucci’s first wife of 14 years, Kate, tragically died in May 2009 after a long battle with cancer. The couple, who temporarily separated between 2003 and 2004, had three children together while Kate Tucci had two children from a previous marriage, who Stanley helped to raise.

Tucci and his best man Buscemi have co-starred in numerous movies including Slaves of New York, Billy Bathgate, In The Soup, Somebody to Love, and The Impostors.

More recently, Tucci appeared in 2011’s Hunger Games, and he’ll reprise his Caeser Flickerman role for the upcoming sequel, Catching Fire, which is currently set for a 2013 release.

Our congratulations to the happy couple! Again!
