Donald Trump 2016: Is Hillary Clinton Losing The Election?

Donald Trump in 2016 is one of the most polarizing subjects in politics today. It’s nearly impossible to find someone who doesn’t love or hate him, and he could be on his way to beating Hillary Clinton to the White House.

Early in his run, Donald had been known for his allegedly racist and sexist views. His statement about Mexicans angered many Hispanic voters, as he stated that they’re bringing crime and rape into the United States. Many ignored the part of the statement where he said there were good people south of the border, and the early damage was only the beginning.

Donald Trump continued his 2016 shenanigans after an interview with Fox News reporter Megyn Kelly, calling her a lightweight and allegedly blaming her attitude on her menstrual cycle. After that, he’d also taken on fellow Republican hopeful Carly Fiorina with a joke about her face, saying she doesn’t look like a president. The media and real estate mogul hasn’t taken back what he said about Megyn Kelly, but he retracted his statement about Fiorina. Through it all, he has been labeled a misogynist.

Trump also made a statement about a Black Lives Matter activist who had tried to take him down at a rally. He’d stated that someone should “rough them up,” and he was instantly labeled a racist for the second time.

Trump’s 2016 statements have been some of the most confusing, as he is gaining a strong following in the polls. Apparently, U.S. voters are buying into his campaign to “make America great again” despite his earlier comments.

Of course, Hillary Clinton is also facing serious backlash, having been accused of using a private server for confidential emails. Combine this with accusations that she may have fixed Google search results and intentionally paid people behind the scenes to make Bernie Sanders drop out, and she appears to be a shady character. It was those emails that may have cost her the lead she’d had on Donald Trump.

Vanity Fair says that Hillary had a double-digit lead on Trump in August, and it’s vanished since reports revealed more leaked emails. This is the first time her polls have been this low, and it seems she may be on her way out of the White House for the second time since her husband left.

For many voters, the concept of choosing between Clinton and Trump in 2016 has made it feel like we as voters lose either way. This is giving way to a possible rise in popularity for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein. However, neither of the alternatives have enough of a following to guarantee them an election.

Trump’s latest polls indicate he’s gained a 45 percent approval rating. It’s difficult to understand how he even has a following, considering the statements he’s made and the insults he throws around. One of his possible strong points is his alleged plan to rid the United States of ISIS terrorists. He has already stated that he won’t allow Muslims to enter the U.S. due to the possibility of them being a threat.

Of course, Hillary Clinton has made her response known about the Trump 2016 campaign following his statement about having a secret plan to get rid of ISIS, according to CBS News.

“He says he has a secret plan to stop ISIS. The secret is he has no plan,” she remarked.

Is this rise in the polls for the Trump 2016 campaign leading to an ultimate loss for Hillary Clinton?
