Ariana Grande Slammed For ‘Vulgar’ & ‘Inappropriate’ Photo With Boyfriend Mac Miller
Ariana Grande took to Instagram to make her romance with new boyfriend Mac Miller official on September 6, but not everyone was so thrilled about Grande and Miller going public with their dating life.
According to reports, some of Ariana’s fans weren’t too pleased with Ariana’s seriously public display of affection with her man in the photo she uploaded to social media, blasting Grande for putting on what they described as being a “vulgar” and “inappropriate” display when making things Instagram official.
Ariana finally confirmed that she and Mac are dating with a black and white snap on the social media site, where she could be seen lying on the floor and wrapping her legs around the rapper’s shoulders as he buried his head in her chest.
Tagging Miller, Grande simply captioned the upload “baabyyy,” officially confirming that she and Mac are dating just weeks after it was reported that she had split with her boyfriend of around a year, Ricky Alvarez.

But while Ariana looked seriously loved-up with her new man, who she was first revealed to be dating after TMZ published snaps of the twosome kissing during a date last month, some fans weren’t exactly thrilled with the picture.
She Knows reported that some fans made their disdain known on the snap’s comments section, suggesting that the fully clothed lovefest was just too much PDA for some of Grande’s younger fans.
“Ewww. Sorry Ari but that’s just VULGAR!” Instagram user @jcrystal4116 commented on Grande’s photo with Miller, while from @xxalley19xx told Ariana in the comments section of her black and white upload, “So inappropriate for Instagram. Especially for your younger followers.”
“Is this a publicity thing?” Instagram user @tana_momgeauIs asked.
Fans also left their comments on Grande’s snap on Twitter, with some social media users describing the couple’s PDA as “gross.”
“Ariana and Mac Miller gross me out,” Twitter user @jen_bunee wrote, while Twitter user @1991jesy wrote, “Ariana slayed but her and Mac Miller are soooo gross together.”
But while some of Grande’s fans were sceptical of her new shot and her new romance, others actually praised Ariana for sharing the loved-up photo and even complimented the couple on their big dating confirmation.

“Goals [they’re] cute together,” @thats__jazzettesanchez commented on Ariana’s photo, while @_alexbabby_ wrote on the social media site that Grande and Miller were “relationship goals.”
Grande hasn’t responded to the criticism surrounding the snap of herself and Miller, though she did confirm that she and Mac were officially dating just last week on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet.
Ariana appeared to dodge questions when asked about her dating life on the VMAs red carpet according to People, but eventually confirmed that she and Mac are an item after pre-show host Charlamagne Tha God asked her where Mac was.
“Being supportive. It’s okay to be alone even when you have a boo,” Ariana replied, before telling the host that she would “send him your regards.”
According to an eyewitness who spotted Grande and Miller on their date, the two “couldn’t keep their hands off of each other” while enjoying their dinner and were “kissing and giggling” all night, just weeks before Grande posted the seriously cozy photo on Instagram.
