Izzy Goodkind Says She And Vinny Ventiera Are Good Friends, Vinny Makes Fun Of Brett Melnick

Izzy Goodkind and Vinny Ventiera left one another on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 on bad terms. After Izzy confessed that she found another man, the newly-arrived Brett Melnick, to be her perfect man physically and was no longer sure about being in a relationship with Vinny, Vinny decided to leave early, leaving Izzy apologizing while crying. On Monday night’s episode, Izzy, after Brett rejected her, pleaded with Vinny through the phone for another chance. Vinny told Izzy that she blew it with him. According to Izzy, despite all the drama that happened between them in Mexico, she and Vinny are now good friends. Vinny, meanwhile, poked fun of Brett as the episode aired.

In a podcast interview with Hollywood Life, posted last Friday, Izzy denied that she and Vinny are back together in a relationship. She explained that the recent video and photo captured of her and Vinny looking like a couple while traveling showed nothing more than a great friendship.

“I was sleeping on his lap on the plane. He had a gig in AC, so he flew to NYC and I live here, it was just convenient. It wasn’t a surprise. It wasn’t a shock. We had planned to travel back together. We definitely created an unbelievable friendship there in this situation that not many people get to experience. We definitely have a close relationship. So we’re friends.”

Izzy was referring to the video and photo that TMZ has of Izzy and Vinny traveling together about a week and a half together. The photo shows Vinny sitting in an airplane seat looking at his phone while a woman lays her head on his lap. According to TMZ, the woman was Izzy. Before the flight, TMZ caught up with Izzy and Vinny outside of the terminal. When questioned by the paparazzo, Vinny said that they’re just friends.

“You know we’re, we’re friends. I’m traveling to New York and so is she and so I figured let’s hop on the same flight… There was a little planning behind it but like I said I have a gig up there and she lives up there so…”

Vinny went on to explain that they re-connected when they did the after-show After Paradise together. “It’s all good. It’s all good right now,” Izzy said. “We’re friends at this point. We’re friends,” Vinny reiterated.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, right after the episode during which Izzy confessed to Vinny her attraction to Brett and Vinny left aired, Vinny defended Izzy on social media. He tweeted for people to stop bullying her.

Vinny, who works as a DJ by the name of Vinny Vinsane, certainly seems to be the single life. Before the latest episode airing, Vinny posted a photo of himself on a boat with a group of women in their bikinis.

As the episode aired, Vinny posted some tweets that made fun of Brett. First, Vinny compared Lauren Himle and Brett, whom he didn’t refer to by name but by “the lamp,” to the cartoon characters Pinky and Brain.

Vinny also had something to say about how Brett treated Izzy. Vinny wrote that at least he made eye contact with Izzy during their breakup conversation.

Izzy laughingly replied to Vinny’s tweet about not knowing it was she who called him, showing that they are indeed friends.

Despite getting hurt on the show, Izzy has no regrets. Before the episode airing, she called doing the show “an absolutely amazing experience” that she wouldn’t have traded for the world.

On Monday night’s episode, Brett Melnick, whom Izzy Goodkind basically dumped Vinny Ventiera for based on looks, confessed that he wasn’t really feeling Izzy anymore. He said that he had stronger feelings for Lauren Himle than for Izzy.

“At this point I have a better connection with Lauren. I’ve kind of moved on from what Izzy and I had.”

Before the rose ceremony, Brett pulled Izzy aside and, seemingly without even making eye contact, told her that it wasn’t going to work. Izzy confessed to the camera that she now regretted letting Vinny go. She added that she was going to leave Paradise and ask Vinny for a second chance.

“I got full-on rejected. I full regret my decision to say goodbye to Vinny… I don’t feel good about myself…I just want him to know how sorry I am, and beg for his forgiveness, and see if he would be open to me coming to Florida.”

Sitting in the van leaving the resort, Izzy called Vinny and told that she made a mistake and wanted to see him immediately. She apparently left out the part about Brett rejecting her.

“I made a mistake. I completely, completely regret not thinking about your feelings before acting upon anything. I chose to leave Paradise today in hopes that you and I could get back together and things could be like a fairy tale, and I could come to Florida and talk to you tonight.”

Vinny was unconvinced. He told Izzy that he was “blindsided” by what she did and whatever feelings he had for her “went out the window” with that one “shallow” act.

“I just can’t be with somebody like that. For me there’s really no coming back from what happened.”

Izzy Goodkind’s reaction to getting rejected again on Bachelor in Paradise, this time by Vinny Ventiera? She asked that the van pull over so that she could vomit.
