Kanye West-Taylor Swift Feud Continues As Rapper Wants ‘Unity’
Kanye West and Taylor Swift’s feud wages on. It seems like everyone can’t stop talking about the time Kim Kardashian exposed the singer-songwriter on Snapchat by releasing the videos of her phone conversation with the rapper about his song “Famous.”
After Kanye West made a rather confusing speech at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, the 35-year-old met up with a fan who was wearing a T-shirt that combined half of West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album cover with half of Swift’s 1989 album cover.
Of course, West captioned the photo, “Unity love.”

On Sunday night, West tried to address the “Famous” controversy by saying that he was not trying to diss Swift, reports Teen Vogue. He basically said that he loves everyone and that there are more important issues going on in the world.
However, Radar Online believes that West dissed Swift before premiering his music video for his new song “Fade.” During his four-minute rant, he didn’t shy away from the invisible elephant in the room.
“People say, ‘Oh but you have that beef with Taylor,’ but I love y’all – that’s why I called her.”
Even the folks at Hollywood Life believe that West slammed Swift in his speech. Sources told the celebrity gossip blog that Swift wasn’t interested in watching West’s speech at all. She made sure not to tune into the VMAs that night.
“She had the show monitored for anything that Kanye or anyone else might have to say about her, but she didn’t watch the show live. There wasn’t anything she wanted to see that she couldn’t at a later time. If she was interested in watching she would have been there in person.”
Despite Kanye West’s attempts to make good with Swift, the feud won’t end. Reality star Kourtney Kardashian is gracing the October 2016 issue of Cosmopolitan in which she gives her honest opinion about Kim Kardashian’s feud with Taylor Swift. While asked about Kim exposing Swift’s private conversation with her brother-in-law West, Kourtney had nothing but support for the couple.
“It’s her husband, and he’s family. The truth is the truth, so why not let it be known?” Kourtney simply stated.
According to another Hollywood Life report, Kourtney’s answer is not unusual. If you regularly watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, then you would know that they are all about family. They even addressed the feud on a recent episode of the E! series.
Everyone anticipated the feud to be addressed at the 2016 MTV VMAs. Instead, all eyes were on Rihanna, Beyonce, and Britney Spears, all of whom performed that night. Of course, Kim and Kanye were in attendance, but not much was said about his feud with Swift. Instead, fans took to social media to remark about his strange new music video starring Teyana Taylor.
Of course, Swift didn’t show up to the event. Instead, she’s been laying low since the Snapchat drama unfolded. Swift has been making low-key appearances to and from the gym in L.A. and New York, and she was seen going to jury duty on Monday, August 29.
In mid-July, Kim Kardashian dropped a bombshell when she exposed Swift for giving West permission to include her name on “Famous.” Swift retaliated by saying that she did not give the rapper permission to refer to her as “that b****.”
