Wait A Minute — Rapist Brock Turner To Be Released This Friday?

Brock Turner, sentenced to six months, is getting out early. The privilege continues, America.

If you don’t remember, Brock Turner was the Stanford University student who was caught raping another student behind a dumpster.

Scary Mommy reports that Brock received five — mind you, five — felony charges. They were as follows:

  1. rape of an intoxicated person
  2. rape of an unconscious person
  3. sexual penetration by a foreign object of an intoxicated woman
  4. sexual penetration by a foreign object of an unconscious woman
  5. and assault with intent to commit rape.

However, only three of these charges stuck.

Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky is who chose to give Brock Turner a ridiculously light sentence for his heinous crime.

While Turner should’ve received a sentence of 14 years, he ended up with a six-month term.

Brock Turner’s Privilege Is Undeniable

According to New York Daily News, Brock is scheduled to go free on Friday, September 2.

Where’s the justice for the rape victim?

An already laughable sentence of six months is reduced to three months? What is going on, here?

The source says that Brock Turner’s release is based on good behavior.

The prosecutors were looking for a six-year sentence to happen.

But, judging by this result, such a sentence might have proven nonsensical — given that Judge Persky ordered such a light sentence and reduced it to half time served.

Did you know Brock Turner was “laughing at the situation”?

Scary Mommy reports that Brock laughed at “how ridiculous the situation was.”

Turner mentioned that it wasn’t all that serious to begin with.

Even with all of these infractions coming to light, Brock — with three felony rape convictions against him — is still being released on Friday, September 2.

What About Justice?

Whether Brock Turner has learned his lesson or not, that is beside the point. There are hordes of inmates who have long since learned their lessons.

Yet, they’re still serving their full sentences.

Even when they come before a review board for the same crime as Brock Turner, they’re quickly revoked probation and sent back into lock up.

While Judge Persky says that prison would’ve been too harsh a punishment for Turner, there are innocent people who have been totally framed for rape and didn’t even committhe crime. Nevertheless, they’re locked up, many still awaiting their “speedy trial.”

Brock Turner, people will be waiting.

Actually, Michelle Dauber — a Stanford law professor — has put together a campaign and plans to protest outside of the jail on Friday with many others who will join her.

According to New York Daily News, Dauber isn’t protesting Brock Turner.

Rather, she’s protesting Judge Persky. The law professor mentions that it’s not the first time the judge has shown blatant bias and favoritism in the court room.

Now, she’s running a campaign which could have Brock’s judge removed from his seat.

“The professor said that she is continuing a recall campaign against the judge despite him asking to try only civil cases, and added that California’s Attorney General should investigate the circumstances behind Persky allowing a football player convicted of domestic violence to move out of state so that he could play for the University of Hawaii.”

As Scary Mommy mentions, such biased nature in the courtroom should not be.

Brock Turner should have to pay for the crime with jail time, “like every other f*****g criminal who’s been convicted,” says the source.

A black teen recently received seven years for sexting his teen girlfriend. The judge tried the case as child pornography, a very harsh offense.
